Hi Oregon If your bike is our of warranty it may have the cup and cone bearings used on earlier Wisper bikes, these may need replacing. Did you ask steve for a price? All the best David

Hi Jason Thanks for the report, this is more how Wisper and all bikes with the higher end Bafang motors should perform. There should be very little drag from the new brushless motors. But uphill you will notice the extra weight of the bike. All the best David
