    Loosened spokes/Wisper 905

Hi Allen The spokes should have been checked and adjusted during the pre delivery inspection so I am surprised they were so loose. Did you buy the bike over the internet? It is still important to have spokes checked every few hundred miles especially on the driving wheel, it keeps the...

Absolutely CB. There is no doubt that the KK is a great bike as is our Wisper. It would be fantastic to get some data regarding the efficiency hub vs gear drives that is more scientific than that from two (probably bias) riders or manufacturers comparing notes about the bikes in which they...

Wisper: SO hard to pedal without power

Hi Andrew I feel the riding characteristics must have more to do with riding a heavier bike than motor drag, what you describe would fit exactly. The Dapu motors on the Alpino and XC Tourer are better free wheelers then the chunkier Bafangs but are more expensive. All the best David

Help from a local Wisper owner

Hi Paul Range does so much depend on the amount of power a rider is demanding from the motor, with a throttle that works independently from the pedelec system (a system that so many people demand) a bike will rarely deliver the range of a bike that has a torque sensor only. We do our range...

Wisper: SO hard to pedal without power

Hi Allen, we certainly agree that riding an electric bike without power is tough compared to riding one with the power turned on. Please let me know where you found this sentence and I will have it removed, I can't find it in our marketing material. It does sound as if there may be a problem...

Back Hi Eddie It's great to be back on my favorite forum! Last few weeks have been insane with sales, Eurobike, and the launch of DaaHub and the new 2011 bikes to our overseas dealers. DaaHub went down down a storm at Eurobike and stole a little of the lime lite from our new bikes...

Wisper 706 Alpino - new electric bike

Hi Marny I am delighted to read you are enjoying your bike. The cut off is there to save battery power and to avoid over-stressing the motor on very steep start offs, you should start with quick a pedal and then use the throttle. Regarding the stem, simply push up the lock, lift the...
