Differences bewteen front and rear hub motor fixings

Yes the tab is completely sufficient for decent rear dropouts or good suspension forks. However if you are fitting a kit motor to front aluminium forks I would always fit a torque arm.

Thanks Tillson, using our standard 14Ah 36V battery the bike is proving to be OK for a full shift. We also have bikes with the North Welsh police who find the same. However I don't think they do much more than 30 or 40 miles a day. All the best David

    City of London E Cop!

Thanks Bruce, we should all be in touch with our local police forces with our various brands, I believe this is a superb way of publicising the advantages of electric biking. I know a great many forces have started to use them all over the world, we simply need to keep up the pressure. All...

    City of London E Cop!

On the first day of use the policeman in the photo caught a guy using a mobile whilst driving, being a professional cyclist he hates drivers using phones illegally as he believes it puts bike users in danger. He told me that he would never have caught the driver on his conventional push bike...

    throttle availability

Hi Alex I hope you had a great Christmas, have you tried the 906Alpino 28" the bike is very much larger than the standard 26" Wisper bikes and may be more suitable? It also features the Shimano Alfine 8 gear hub which I believe you would find an advantage as you do not need to be pedaling in...

    Any Questions?

Hi Ronnie Unfortunately the drive systems are different on the Alpino/xc Tourer and the rest of our bikes so the LCD is not compatible. The rule of thumb is all bikes that the model number end in a 6 use the Japanese Dapu system and all bikes with a model number ending in 5 are fitted with...

    ETRA update on EU proposal

We at Wisper took the decision to suport ETRA as they seem to have the strongest lobbying skills in European regarding electric bikes. They are a small organisation and need as much support as they can get. The UE is making such a dog's dinner out of electric bike regulations it needs...
