    Help! Halfords

Juicy are in Derbyshire. I think their main place is in Ashbourne, but I think they might have something in Matlock too. Give them a call.

Advice on which e-bike to buy

You will almost certainly need to use the Halfords warranty in two years of regular use. Any problems with the Big Bear will show up straight away, after which there isn't much that can go wrong. Rear motors are better than front ones. There are lots of good bikes in your price range that...

    Replacement Battery

It doesn't make sense to get that re-celled. It'll cost a lot more than a new one. It's a standard water bottle battery that you can get from Ebay or Aliexpress. In fact, you can replace it with a Dolphin battery if you want more capacity or other water bottle types if you want smaller and...

    WARNING ebiketuning.com selling useless tools

I have a lovely set of torque wrenches sitting in my tool cabinet, but I can't thing of the last time I used one. I think it was in 1988 when I put some new valves in my Fiesta. The torque wrench was needed for the stretch bolts because you have to stretch them the right amount. For normal nuts...

You can get a c-spanner on that one, which will be much cheaper than the Bosch tool.

is this a square taper crank workable for my PAS disk?

You have a standard square taper crank. It's the bottom bracket that's not so common. You have the traditional adjustable cup and cone bearings. Modern bikes use sealed roller bearings in a single cartridge unit. The two types are interchangeable.

Hall sensor configuration possibly causing C3 error?

Postage cost is irrelevant. It's the overall cost that counts.

is this a square taper crank workable for my PAS disk?

OK, that's a left one then. Unfortunately, you have the wrong type of bottom bracket bearings. If it were my bike, i'd replace that arrangement with a cartridge unit that you can get from Halfords for about £10. The alternative would be to take the pedal arm off and grind about 3mm off the back...

is this a square taper crank workable for my PAS disk?

Normally, PAS goes behind the chainwheel unless you have a left side one. It might help to show what you have.

Hall sensor configuration possibly causing C3 error?

If the hall sensors are switching, they're fine. Sorry I forgot the link in my post above: https://bmsbattery.com/home/1010-18239-s-ku65-controller-for-led810-250w15a-6mosfets-controller.html#/341-led-no_led

Hall sensor configuration possibly causing C3 error?

These used to work just about any motor. they were fully automatic re phase and hall configuration. They have changed since the original version, but I don't know whether those changes have affected their versatility. Don't forget to order the LED panel.

Oxygen s cross mk11 mtb 2020 ex demo model review

Did you take the crank off to change the chainwheels? The standard S-cross MTB has a triple chainwheel. Your photo shows a single one. Maybe you didn't bolt it back up tight enough.

    Planetary gear removal

Knock the bearing off using a metal wedge of some sort. When I had one like that, I used my angle grinder to grind a bit of scrap steel into a wedge with a gap for the axle so that it lifted both sides at the same time. Once the bearing is out of the way, there should be a circlip holding the...

    Clonk noise from crank

At only 500 miles, logic says it's one of your crank bolts. Tighten it immediately. It looks like you forgot to mention that you replaced the triple chainwheel for your single red one.

    TSDZ2 48v 750w on Order!

Just for a laugh, it's a Hailong battery. I guess our Chinese friends can't pronounce it right. Actually, only the case comes from Hailong. Any factory could have assembled the cell-pack into it.

There's hardly any professional people that know how to fix that type of bike. Your best hope would be an enthusiastic amateur. A google search shows the nearest Biocycle dealer is, which must be right on your doorstep: Electric Bicycle Company 711 North Circular Road Neasden, London NW2 7AX...
