    Hybrid cars

Owning a car is so 20th century... I am looking forward to rental fleets of electric cars - the rental should cost less (I bet it won't though...) but the driver still saves on filling the car up.

General News Royal Mail trials e-trikes

Most cargo trikes have steering dampers and often an option for an extra one. The local bike taxi guy has a trike like your post office are testing and he can't go over 25 km/h without getting himself and his clients scared. He also can't go up or come down most hills around here... Post...

Why many ebikes exceed UK/EU maximum of 250W

You could read EN15194, it explains what 250 W nominative means. It is a consumer protection thing that guarantees that you buy a motor capable of putting out 250 W for one hour without it getting warm. The 48v max battery thing is a security feature and the top speed limited to 25 km/h a road...

    Hybrid cars

I don't have a car I have a pedelec. Oh, and a trike (that's for sport)... Last week I brought back 40 kg of organic compost and clay beads from the garden center. Must have cost me about 2% of a kWh (@ 0.13€). I'm going to grow my own salad :)

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Come on, we all know that either you are 12 years old or Donald Trump posting under a false identity (the real Donald Trump doesn't do pseudonyms, he doesn't like words he doesn't understand)...

    Packa cargo bike

Ugly as sin but does the job, a bit like the 2CV. Prices will eventually come down I guess when cargo bikes are less of a niche market and more mainstream. I still prefer a decent trailer...

Why many ebikes exceed UK/EU maximum of 250W

It has been done in France - a vélomobile owner was fined for breaking the 50 km/h speed limit on his way to work. And in Irun where I ride quite often there is a 30 km/h speed limit for all, including bicycles - it is written on the sign. The rider has to correctly estimate her/his speed if...

virtually /ˈvəːtʃʊəli/ adverb 1. nearly; almost. Do you need the definition of "nearly"? I happen to know someone who went there and who did have internet access. If you try and use a VPN they will lock you away however. Do you need to know what a VPN is? Just asking because you are having one...

    Help - too many punctures

First puncture in about 9000 km today on the left front of the trike. A thorn went through the sidewall missing the puncture protection layer... :( I also got pulled over by the police for the first time ever on a bike (trike), they were worried I didn't have a flag. My Spanish isn't good...
