It may be different over there, but here, the AG is basically the government's in house solicitor. .. gives advice, tries to keep the government out of court, but that's it, cannot dictate. I had picked up on your flustration with the MPs , who actually should have the power to do so. Can your...

Actually I think that is just the type of action a responsible newspaper should take. Talking truth to power and keeping the government on notice.

    Fascism returns to Spain

This is to clarify my dislike rating... The sentiments expressed in the top 90% of the post , I like.. However the musings that we would as a species be improved by periodical annihilation is so repugnant, that it counteracts the preceding passages.

Well they could do that but it would be pointless as they could much more easily just go to the European union website and download the studies. http://www.europarl.europa.eu/ireland/en/news-press/european-parliament-research-on-brexit

In this I can agree with you Woosh. I also am concerned with large military alliances. What I am not sure about is whether having 3 or 4 or 5 is more stable than 2. I kind of suspect it is.

A few points. Junkers, whatever you may think about him has been elected, again and again...just like May and Johnson have been elected again and again.. you know these to be true so why produce these again and again... Artistic licence perhaps. The really really wealthy remain really really...

Yes but the houses got built for Irish people in Ireland. The road network has been upgraded, The Poles, and Irish workers got paid, the German banks got paid, everything was fine up until 2006, when some developers in a fit of hubris, believed the gravy train would never end starting...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Why would Irish housebuyers give money in Poland to Poles?. For some obscure reason we would have preferred the houses we wanted to live in be located in Ireland rather than Warsaw. The German banks would have been pleased to lend money to Poles in Poland in 2002, where there was no work, but...

Of course you can use the standard. A standard is a standard. They may require you to have it qualified in a EU approved test house. Its just that you will have no input to any revision, won't be on any distribution lists for revisions, and the first you will know will be when an entire batch...
