    Brexit, for once some facts.

.. which part of wafer thin majority is hard to grasp. 17 \ 15 was wafer thin. I do agree with you that if one constantly listens to the same group that this groupthink mentality forms.. might you not also be affected? now I am not a UK subject, but a citizen of a republic, which is inside...

Why do many , or in the case of your survey believe an obvious untruth that they are not European. Do they not look at maps, do they not accept, that their forebears came from Denmark, Germany ( that's where the Angle). And Saxon come from. Is it some notion of racial superiority drummed...

.. Oxygen I was intrigued by the reference to coffee, so started to look at it. There is no tariff on green unprocessed beans. There is approx. 8% tariff on processed coffee beans or product . Eg decaf roasted etc. The reason for this presumably at the request of coffee blenders in Europe is...

. No not true, Barnier does have a negotiating space. The plan is that following the negotiations, Barnier generates a conclusion document which is then voted on by qualified majority voting at the EU parliment.. so even were Ireland or Slovakia utterly opposed, it could still pass and become...

That I suggest is wishful thinking on your (and my ) behalf. if that had been a strategy, they would not have triggered article 50 so early or would have pleaded an in ability to negotiate due to changed conditions (the election) at home.

So what? Trump also ran a brilliant campaign, as he remains the world on an almost daily basis. .. his main point being your point 3 above. I blame your parliamentary politicians, post referendum for failing to take the back the initiative, and responsible governance.

Sorry Woosh, but that is a fools pardon. He is entitled to an opinion, but he or she is equally required to ensure that it is a informed opinion.. we have been over this ground before. None of us, over the age of reason, is entitled to spout nonsense or lies .. only in the USA with its absurd...

. My previous answer to the question you , not Kudos, posed, illustrated the dilemma that the UK EU negotiators will face when they actually negotiate. There is an established principle of " when in Rome, do as the Romans do.." and this has served well. Eg in certain countries what we define...

I suspect that he will be found not guilty. In previous cases , and there have been a few of these "wanton and furious" cases, as my looking up the web has shown, the person had been doing something decidedly wrong.. zooming down a road and deliberately mounting the footpath and killing a...

    Volt range of e-bikes.

Might I disagree on semantics.. cost is an objective measurement. Value is a subjective decision. To the poster, the fact that there are two trouble free years of service, that the cost was affordable, that the product was available, that the bike shop is agreeable, have all fed into his value...

The EU position is that it's citizens have been given specific rights. Their view is that they , the EU then don't have a right to then deny those rights... If they did they were not rights but privileges . If they remain in or go to a country where they had those rights, the EU wants to...

Oxygen, I'll respond to that one. There are industries where the upfront costs are pretty high. Pharmaceutical manufacturing being one, the plant is expensive and needs commissioning, the processes need validation , the staff need comprehensive training and verification, all before a single...

.. yes 17 million others agreed with you and 16 million did not agree. That was a wafer thin majority. We can agree on that fact. We can also agree that there are more people currently employed in the UK, we can also agree that there has been a large slide in the value of sterling, and we can...

.. my reading of both the article and the Labour force review figures was that there were more people in employment, including other EU nationals and non EU nationals, than anytime since 1971. That would imply that it is the demand side due to more favourable export conditions,

New member advice on new ebike please

I suppose that in a crank drive, the control electronics is physically very close to the motor so putting additional sensors is easy to accomplish. Do the hub motors then not use such protection, or are they assuming the extra mass of the hub will conduct away the heat?
