    No chance, I doubt they'll even make a connection. They'll join with Boris in deluding themselves that our gross mishandling of the crisis was a huge British triumph, just like that other British victory at Dunkirk. Both down to being sovereign and showing Johnny Foreigner how it's done. .

    I can't think of any source in retail stores, but think that material could be in short supply anyway, since McLaren, Rolls Royce and others have suddenly switched to mass producing these masks for the NHS. .

    Comedians are very much personal taste of course. I always thought Tommy Handley was rubbish so when Ted Ray said he wanted to follow that path it was an immediate turnoff for me. I prefer the clever in comedy like Dave Allen and Bob Monkhouse. .

    Indeed, and it's especially true the for the vulnerable elderly who are going to go soon anyway. I'm 84, what does it matter if I go this year or in a few years time? I'm not going to miss much since I've had a life already. At my age I'm not going to be jet skiing in the Bahamas or scuba...

    The power of policing by consent. It works when officers have the sense to use it, and most do, making fines unnecessary. Unfortunately some in a few forces don't and cause friction, which is why the Home Office reprimand as necessary. .

    Within about two months for financial reasons there will be some easing to get people back to work. Probably around July. But some restrictions could be very long term. .
