Which one I should go for?

it's generally not a problem if you weigh more than 15st (95kgs). The reason for that is you need to put enough weight on the front wheel to avoid wheel slip. If you are going to buy the Bear, you should test ride it before taking it away.

Which one I should go for?

I like what the owner did to improve his Big Bear! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/593057564977969/ his Raidon fork is totally impressive, plus the NCX seat post sure make the bike extremely comfortable!

    No Suspension

Suntour forks on e-bikes (mostly NEX, XCM) are usually fit and forget. You don't need to maintain - cheap to replace so maybe replace but not maintain.

    No Suspension

e-bike frames usually don't fail the same way that road bikes do. Mostly at the top of the seat tube, due to seat posts too short. E-bikes' frames and welding around the bottom bracket are beefier too. this is the welding around the bottom bracket of the Santana3:

    Help required with purchase

For your wife, I would suggest the Woosh Santana3 or the Woosh Rambla. Your Woosh Faro and the Santana3 are very different in design. The Faro has lightweight frame, rigid fork, lightweight Aikema 85SX motor, in frame 8AH battery, skinny 28-700C tyres, the Santana3 has chunky Dutch style...

    No Suspension

on balance, I think you should have some suspension to help with your shoulder injury. It's true that cheap steel coil forks don't compare against high end air forks but they are not usually aimed at the same application. In your specific case, a good suspension post such as the Suntour...

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

intermittent faults are always difficult to diagnose.

I reckon the heat from friction would melt the rubber on his tyre in about 3 minutes climbing.

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

If you sit on the bike and start walk mode, does the motor drive the bike for any length of time?

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

there are not enough clues in the video to figure out what's wrong with your motor. The walk mode has a speed limit of 4mph, so the motor starts and stops with the wheel off the ground. can you ride assisted up any hill with the bike (even intermittently)?

the G20 kit weighs only 1.3kgs - it's built with 20x 3500mAH cells. To it, you add a 5-pin LCD lead and a KD58C LCD. I have been riding around Southend on my Brompton with a Bosch drill battery. The G20 is simply a safer version of the same. Nothing stops you using 10S lipo with a conventional...

    Guinea Pig Needed

you have to add controller, battery, PAS, throttle, brake sensors etc They are the same components you would use in a normal hub kit. They weigh the same, only the motor wheel makes the difference. Once side, you have an Aikema motor weighing 1.9kgs (some other models weigh even less but I use a...

Actual cost of bike and equipment to employer C2W scheme?

yes, in principle, any C2W over £1,000 will need authorisation from the FCA. That's why most companies limit the amount to £1,000 and leave the balance to the employees to sort out with the bike shop. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycle_to_Work_scheme I have removed this line from the sample...

Crank arm wireless cadence sensor solution?

Of course a 12 magnet disc is twice as sensitive as a 6 magnet disc but the choice depends on how the controller was programmed. I like simple, solid discs that don't catch mud.

Crank arm wireless cadence sensor solution?

the traditional pedal sensor that fits between the chainring and bottom bracket is difficult to beat. It is simple, sensitive, reliable and usually fit and forget. It does not have moving part which is a big plus.

Torque v cadence - which has more efficient battery usage (my wife's battery ran out, mine did not...)?

I'll put the Rambla back in the online shop at the end of the month. you can convert the Santana to use your TS kit in about an hour. Take the crankset out and drop your TS kit in. The motor and battery use the same connectors.
