    Brexit, for once some facts.

The idea of leaving but staying within the customs union, then having a different permanent deal or a second referendum, is awful. When we have the second referendum, it must be before the world has been turned upside down.

It could well put bite marks on his arse. Whether the BBC should have gone ahead with it, or not, is another issue. I almost wonder if they got a researcher to ring him up for a comment expecting either a prepared statement or "No comment.", and couldn't believe it when he agreed. Some of the...

Quite strongly argued. Fundamentally, his choice of Corbyn and Labour as the "Russia-backed" basis of a thought experiment does rightly point out how strong the backlash from the DM and "friends" would be. I part company when he goes on to welcome Cameron back into politics... :(

    Results of cycling accident

Many of the cycling deaths do appear to be of such severity that the helmet is irrelevant - classics being the HGV entanglement type of incident. But I do feel slightly better wearing one when I consider some of the possible issues I might encounter. It does depend on exactly what I am doing...

It does appear that many leavers are far more optimistic about the effect of leaving. But there are quite a lot who cannot believe the ineptitude of pretty much every step of the way from referendum to today. They might not have changed their minds in terms of wanting to leave but are far from...

Arguably, the biggest problem is that what is appearing is so far from what was promised. Had what currently is (or appears to be) on the table been what was campaigned for, then the vote might have gone the other way. Especially as the serious negative impacts have started to be appreciated in...
