    bike want s to go

Try holding on one of the brakes when you switch on. The brake sensor should stop the surge, but if it doesn't, the brake will help.

Yose Power - Good or Bad for Silver Fish?

Just ordered a 15AH battery from the Yose > website <. I found a €10 discount code online which works (BH2E24BXQH). I paid with Paypal using the exchange rate on my credit card, the total came to about £192. They tell me it's coming from Germany but there will be no issues with VAT. I'm...

Looking for LiPo pouch cells or a ready made 36v cell pack to fit a silverfish case

Yose Power & YSbatteryuk have different business email addresses, and different business addresses in China, but as you say, they may well be the same place. I've ordered directly from YosePower. According to Yose on webchat, the battery is coming from Germany but there will be no VAT /...

GPS Tracking on new Wisper Sport?

I like the idea in principle, it looks similar to what's being used on the e-scooters that can be hired, but your costs seem a bit high. If you're building this into all of your bikes and charging for activation, the users of the system are subsidising the non users. M2M Sims seem quite cheap so...

Yose Power - Good or Bad for Silver Fish?

Thanks for the info. From all of the suppliers I've looked at, Yose seems to be the best overall.

Yose Power - Good or Bad for Silver Fish?

I need a 36V 10/15AH Silverfish battery. I looked at getting the old one re-celled but the price is more than double what I see elsewhere. @vfr400 was right , it makes no sense that I can see to get it re-celled at those prices. While I understand that re-cell specialists are using high grade...

Batribike Breeze - cuts out after a few minutes

I can't deny that I'm a bit disappointed, but to be honest I'm not too surprised. I bought the bike cheaply as it had a problem & had the expectation that it would need a battery so while my luck was not as good as @Tony1951 above so far as the battery is concerned, it's not a total disaster...

    Batribike Breeze, low geared...help..

Luckily, the Breeze has a twist grip so no need to turn the pedals and is partly why I bought an older bike. My problem is that I like to go at more than 15 mph, but still like the idea of a battery assist to do it so that I can go further and still get a bit of exercise. I've been looking at...

Batribike Breeze - cuts out after a few minutes

OK, roadtest this afternoon. Got a lot more out of the battery than before, but still only about 3 or 4 miles before cut out. My house is on a hill so I'm not sure how much I'd get on a totally flat road but for sure a lot less than with a new battery. On the plus side, I now know that the bike...

    Batribike Breeze, low geared...help..

Yeah, saw that but thought it might be better / easier & cheaper to change the chainwheel as per #5 above..

    Batribike Breeze, low geared...help..

Same problem here, pedals too fast even at 15mph in top. I need a bigger chainwheel but the original is fixed to the crank so I'm guessing that I need another chainwheel & crank set (chainset)? Are they all standard sizes for the square hole on the cranks? Thanks

Batribike Breeze - cuts out after a few minutes

More progress.. Many thanks for all the replies, special thanks to @cyclebuddy for the halogen bulb test load idea, to @Tony1951 for pointing me in the right direction re the low cell & to @vfr400 @Nealh for the tip about charging up the low cell. I first tried to discharge the other cells via...

Looking for LiPo pouch cells or a ready made 36v cell pack to fit a silverfish case

I was in touch with Yose Power yesterday via web chat on their website. They told me that if you buy their product from an eBay seller , they will help you contact that seller in case of a warranty issue & the seller is no longer on eBay. They also sent me an eBay link to ysbatteryuk , so this...

Mystery white wire from rear motor hub

Understood, many thanks. I'll mask the wire to insulate the end.

Mystery white wire from rear motor hub

Thanks for the clarification It has an LCD display for the battery level but no speedo / speed indicator. Presumably the speed limit is somehow sensed by the controller?

Looking for LiPo pouch cells or a ready made 36v cell pack to fit a silverfish case

I'm tempted, but here's where I start to get sceptical about these things.. Same item, but £14 cheaper, different seller ID but oddly enough the same seller details down to the UK VAT number, email address & company name / address in China. Maybe the £14 is for the warranty...

Mystery white wire from rear motor hub

Aha, so does this mean that someone has de-restricted it in the past? Any ideas what it should be connected to? Thanks

Mystery white wire from rear motor hub

I discovered a stray, unconnected white wire from the motor hub on my Batribike Breeze. The wire was loose in the controller compartment behind the pedal crank. The wire has what looks to be a broken connector or tag crimped on the end, but there are no missing connections on the controller...
