    Painful video

I almost literally felt the impact of this crash. Conwy driver jailed for head-on crash with cyclist This is the moment when a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel ploughed into a cyclist and flung him in the air during a head-on crash. Jake David Tompkinson, of Rowen, Conwy county, was...

    Should lights be mandtory

Already a confusion as the period seems now to be called Hours of Darkness! For me, today, that seems to be before 06:02 and after 18:56. I'd never have known without positively looking them up. No way would I have ridden without lights that early or late.

    Clever new Rohloff e-shifting

But I've got an Audi so I could possibly/theoretically find some means of accessing diagnostic data, whereas a Rohloff E-14 isn't going to be coming my way in a hurry. Unfortunately.

200 millisecond shift - why that is exactly the same as is claimed for Audi S Tronic. :)

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I was under the impression that rather than one substance, novichok actually applied to a family of substances?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

To have a chance of standing up to the many large nations and multinational organisations which dwarf many medium and smaller nations, we need to have close ties with others. Of course, the EU isn't in five minutes going to address and resolve all the issues, but on our own we stand precious...

    Fat bikes on beach

My experience of an old Range Rover which had been used in a very sandy location supports the impact of sand. The transfer box was utterly unusable by being absolutely stuffed with sand - until taken apart and cleaned out. And almost everything about it was damaged by sand one way or another...

In another part of the UK, I used regularly to see two recumbents. Both ridden by skilled and strong riders at speed. One of them had done a spectacularly good job of adding lighting - mostly orange and greeny - which made it visible at several thousand paces. Side-on, in the dark, it was more...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The USA constitution requires any president to have been born in the USA. So, without a change to that (or simply ignoring it), Putin could not become POTUS. (DT, as we will remember, always lied about Obama in that regard.) No idea what the Russian constitution says but I'd rather expect them...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

In my book, it is only legal because governments around the world either don't want to make it illegal, or have failed to do so. Manipulative tax avoidance (rather than simply accepting offered indulgences like personal tax allowances) fundamentally undermines society.

My comment was more of an observation than a criticism - in reality it might actually look quite good. Looking forward to you posting more information. It could be of interest to me, depending on the answers.

Some may have though that. I can't see any possible reason for doing so - it would simply have been an unjustified assumption.
