Hub or Mid Drive? Any views?

torque based CD motors use their cadence sensor too, firstly to stop false triggering at traffic lights. You have to rotate the cranks a bit to start the motor. Secondly to give a bit more push at low cadence. crank motor and hub motor differ mainly through their gearbox designs, substitute...

I don't know when Labour elect a new leader but LD will be reborn in the new year.

BJ promised not to extend the transition period. That's enough compromise for the ERG. New opportunity for them to short the Pound again next year same time.

most CD bikes now have gear shift sensing, the effect is tiny. I feel that the problem with CD bikes is age lowers cadence. Outside the optimal range (70-100 rpm), you negate the benefit of a CD motor.

depending on the motor but typically, you have to pedal at well over 100 - 120rpm to start losing power on a crank drive.

The BXP also has a part but by and large, it's the remainer parties, especially the LD, that won it for Bojo. LD: +4% Green: +1% SNP: +1% They account for 6% of -7.8% Labour vote loss. The BXP added the 2%. Bojo did achieve tactical win but not necessarily through popular votes. Remainers...

Hub or Mid Drive? Any views?

the context for that question was on a flat road. You don't need more than 200W to ride at 15mph, even ghost pedalling, unless you have a gale wind blowing in your face.

    Hoping to convert

that problem would happen with any bike, you need weight to give traction to the wheel. So a light front end would give less traction to a front conversion compared to a rear conversion. That does not matter much riding on flatish road but it may if the road surface is wet. The kit I would...

not quite. The ERG counts between 20 hardcore brexiters + a number of supporters. They signed up to pass the WAB but intend on pushing for WTO brexit during the transition period. They can still cause BJ some trouble. Any deal with the EU, even just GATT clause 24 still needs parliament's approval.

    No, they won 365, the rest adds up to 284 + the speaker's seat which was not contested. Labour: 203 SNP: 48 LD: 11 DUP: 8 SF: 7 PC: 4 Green: 1 Independents: 2 Speaker:1 203+48+11+8+7+4+1+2+1 = 285

Labour took their blue collar votes for granted and spent hypothetical money on other social groups. If they stuck to just re-nationalisation and the NHS, they might have not lost as much.

the figure is about right, the majority is number of tory MPs - the rest added together, 365 tory MPs-285=80. Note the Speaker does not vote, SF aren't voting either, so it should be 88.

you see and explain clearly why choosing a motor with good torque. There is no agreed standard torque measurement for advertisements on rear hub motors as the maximum torque will increase when the speed drops until close to stalling point, it drops exponentially until it stalls, like the...
