    LCD S866 + Brainpower controller

Can you explain exactly what your problem is? Why should we have to read through 9 pages and then guess at which of the 50 or so reported problems is the same as yours? I don't want to be the grammar police because I know that many people weren't lucky enough to go to a grammar school, but...

    Considering a Volt Metro LS

Volt is a long established brand. Their bikes are generally well sorted - hardly any problems reported on this forum.

Help! Battery needed for Volt Alpine (original style - 2012)

For standard batteries, like OP's, new ones are normally a lot cheaper than a re-cell. Check out the prices for a silver fish or frog battery on EBay.

New bike, motor towed up steep hill.

Causing the motor to slow down nearly to a stop is very bad for your whole electrical system. If you can, pedal harder. At first, it will be a struggle, but your legs will soon get stronger as long as you try. In the long term, both you and the bike will be better for it.

Help! Generic newbie fretting about battery connectors

Yes, you can expect it, but it's not 100% certain. With some batteries, you have to solder to the terminals inside the receiver, which means undoing a couple of screws to remove the cover.

Kit that works with display removed or switched off?

Just a reminder. If you touch the live battery wire (red) to any of the others except the blue one, you'll do a lot of damage. Be very careful if you're going to jump the connector.

    Cyclezee conversion kit.

The chance of finding a bike shop that will deal with it is very slim. I think you'll need to fix it yourself.

Help! Generic newbie fretting about battery connectors

Cut off any connectors, then solder the wires directly together. Red to red and black to black. Use heat-shrink sleeve to insulate.

Bikes like that are not really meant to be ridden without pedalling. Using just a throttle, range would depend on your weight and the amount of hills you climb. On any medium hill, the motor wouldn't have enough power to run at normal speed, so it would run extremely inefficiently and waste a...

    bbs02b 500w 36v question

52V is an option in the battery selection. You should get the gear-change sensor too. https://em3ev.com/shop/bafang-48v-1000w-bbshd-kit/

    bbs02b 500w 36v question

Batteries don't last long when you run them at 25 amps, so you'd be looking for a new one soon anyway. The 52v battery with the BBSHD can run with much less current for the same power as a 36V one, so it'll last longer.

    Red light flashes on controller

Probably got water in it if you've been out in the wet or one of the wires has been pulled off the PCB. When the controller doesn't get a signal from it, it defaults to level 1. You'll probably need a new panel so take it back to Halfords.

Help! short circuiting 3 hall sensor wires with red wire - motor hall sensor

You can run your motor with a sensorless or dual-mode controller. There are loads on Ebay. You need to let us know which type of control panel you have to be able to advise an exact one. Your motor will work OK with a sensorless controller, but not as good as with a sensored one. You might...

    Battery not always fully charging

The white connector has holes in it for the pins on the BMS. It also has slots on the top or bottom face, where you can see little silvery contacts through the slots, where you can attach your meter probes. The connector in the BMS is basically a strip of pins. You can buy that on Ebay, break...

    Battery not always fully charging

Don't assume. Always measure. There are slots in the side of the connector that should allow your probes to make good contact, otherwise use a bit of pinstrip that you can get from EBay for 99 pence.
