    Tonaro crank drive seized

There's no outlet now for the Tonaro brand in the UK, or in Europe that I know of. They were also sold under other names elsewhere but the US and Canadian companies no longer handle them. The only outlet still selling them recently is in Australia, sold under the Aseako name and I know they...

Indeed, but very typically British rather than European, as the Queen's official birthday's archaic celebrations show. .

The spelling is actually pseudo. It's very easy to remember, like so many things of importance, it has EU at the heart. ;) .

True, just before joining we ended up a failed and bankrupt nation with the IMF having to come in and run the economy. Signed up to European membership then, we've steadily grown back to a fair degree of health, thanks entirely to the economic union with the EU and the services and...

Or human rights in the whole of the Middle East, much of Africa and large parts of Central and South America. Or even Singapore and Malaysia, China and Russia. Truly the people of large parts of the world would benefit hugely from EU membership. .

It's still OBE and CBE, not OBC and CBC. Though there is a CBBC. .

Of course there are positives, we are terrific at honours lists. We've just given huge numbers the Order of the British Empire and many others are now Commanders of the British Empire. Of course there isn't a British Empire to command any longer, but who's looking? .

I disagree on shared competences which I support, since the EU has performed so much better in most of those areas than we in the UK have. .

It seems someone said something he disliked. An eye for an eye would be an appropriate retort. A punch knocking someone down isn't an eye for an eye, it's a dangerous response which can seriously injure and even kill on occasions. .

The joys of throttled ebikes/scooters in Spain! Come on England get with the times!

Indeed, what seems to have escaped some posters is that the relevant laws in Spain are fundamentally the same as ours, EU laws 168/2013 and EN15194. Having a throttle and/or not having pedals makes a machine a motor vehicle in law, not a bureaucracy free pedelec with all that implies. .

They won't fear anything in particular. Most have already rejected climate change being a big issue and the plastic thing is also a minority issue. That they fear the extremes of Brexit is fully justified, since it's so blindingly obvious that it will be a disaster if not properly managed...

In my case 9 years with another small wheel e-bike, an initially upgraded Ezee Quando. Due to losing track of mileages over the years I don't have a total, but in one six month period alone of heavy usage in 2008 it covered a precisely documented 3784 miles. The only parts changed in its life...

It's what I've long maintained, Remain is the best option since it dissatisfies the least people. Those who want a No Deal exit from the EU are and always have been a minority, albeit an excessively noisy one. Just like their kin in the House of Commons' Tory far right. .

It wasn't an option though, keeping to an appointment. I had similar conditions on a Croydon tram once. Already quite full the next stop coincided with a school's kids coming out and pouring on board. The two car trams are licenced to carry 150, but I was able to count roughly 200 in the...

No I didn't, only had three close stops to go to Warren Street station where I could get off and take a deep breath of the fresh traffic fumes in the Euston Road. No good to us unless we are selling the kitchens to China or elsewhere! Seriously though Wren actually said "up to 1200", and are...

I think all five million were on the last underground train I was on. Talk about compulsory intimacy! It took ages to get the doors to close before we could move off, due to all the bodies bulging out. And that was just the train. The platform, pedestrian tunnel and escalators we left were...

What a nonsense poster that's turned out to be. Vauxhall have a foot out of the door already since GM sold them off to PSA. Ford are closing Bridgend and are losing so much, £400 millions in Europe last year, they are seriously considering leaving Europe completely as GM have already done...
