I use mainly HL downtube batteries. The controller is integrated to the battery base. There is no battery cable. For those who run Bafang BBSes or Tongsheng TDSZ2, the connectors are usually Andersons if they need quick release for some special reason, XT or simple 3.9mm Japanese bullet crimps...

    Ebike controller

both controllers have the same rating, can be the same, just are paired up with different motors. Most people pair 48V 25A with a 1000W motor, 48V 35A with 1500W motor. you can waste more battery running a 48V 35A with a 1000W motor which will hit magnetic saturation at about 23A-25A.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

spotted on twitter: David Cameron: "Vote for me or face chaos under Labour." (causes utter chaos) Theresa May: "Vote for me or face chaos under Labour." (causes utter chaos) Boris Johnson: "Vote for me or face chaos under Labour." (causes utter chaos even before being elected).

they have a point, although it's not clear how the IPA would be applied in this case. https://www.scl.org/news/10421-the-investigatory-powers-act-2016-commencement-no-11-regulations-2019 One thing for sure, the police are looking for those who leaked classified documents.

    Best motor for low cadence?

crank drive motors deliver their power via the chainring, the higher your cadence, the more power you get and less stress the motor gets. Typically, 60+ is needed, 90 rpm to get the most out of them. If you prefer a cadence less than 60, a large geared hub like the Bafang BPM would suit better...

I must say the man is inventive. Money from supporters can be paid straight into the company's account like regular income, money can be spent without oversight as 'sale costs' or business expense. Remember what the Japanese authorities used as reasons to detain Carlos Ghosn?

just to think the conservative membership is going to foister BJ on the nation as the next PM. He peddles 'optimism' - why can't they see it (his optimism) as an euphemism for lies? He lied to them about Gatt24, about the cost of no deal as vanishingly small, do or die at 1 million to one, then...

you can hold it in the stand with the seat post. I do that too. It works better, easier to balance the bike on the stand compared to holding it with the top tube.

opening up? that's not what they do! You should read the EU analysis of how they arrived to the 37% anti dumping duty. https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/ebma-files-an-anti-dumping-complaint-on-chinese-e-bikes.29409/#post-402569 (much lighter reading than this thread, only 29 pages).

you would be wrong. Have you wondered how their 5 year and 10 year economic plans always seem to be on track? If I pay anti dumping duty and counter value duty on my Chinese imports it's because the Chinese government intervenes to make their exports more competitive, that's called 'market...

for the CDN? 19kgs. The battery is lockable and removeable but where the lock is (under the main beam), it's messy to unlock. It uses the same battery as the 26" Zephyr. I don't make the CDN anymore since 2015. I wait for a new lighter motor before going back to the CDN. I currently ride this...

the fact is small entities need powerful allies or their struggle against much more powerful enemies won't achieve anything. You can see it very well in ISIS or Bashir against the UK/US/France/Russia coalition. The UK is stuck in existing alliances, any future PM will have to work with those...
