Speed sensor & King Meter KM-529 LCD for XF07 36V front hub kit

thank you for the update. The optimal gap between the magnet and the sensor is usually between 5mm and 10mm. Too close, the magnet can give wrong reading.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Esther Mc Vey was on BBC1 this morning, selling no deal. apparently, our civil servants have prepared us for no deal, the EU still needs us more than we need them, we don't pay £39 billion and we will still have an implementation period followed by free trade deal. so what do you think?

Any routine preventative maintenance for the XF07 front hub motor

don't grease anything inside. Don't grease the nylon parts, the grease will degrade them. when the time comes to replace the ballbearings, replace the whole set of 4 bearings at the same time. They cost £12 and their grease will last about 4 years.

it seems to be true. the EU prepares for the possibility of a second referendum which needs 6 months to organise.

Any routine preventative maintenance for the XF07 front hub motor

the main thing is to stop rain water getting into the motor. The motor cable needs to exit downward and form a drip loop. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

you have to take the long term view. NI is stuck with the ROI even more than with the UK. It can break away from the UK but cannot be economically survivable without sharing resources with Southern Ireland. In the long term, 30-50 years, if there is a rail tunnel linking Dublin to France, it...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the DUP has to choose between WTO and staying very close to the EU to stay inside the UK customs area. In effect, it can only choose to stay close to the EU because WTO will create a border between North and South Ireland. The ERG can't support a conservative government that wants to stay in...

    Cyclotricity failing, any clues?

the throttle is programmed to override the pedal sensor. If the controller detects a voltage on it, it will turn off the pedal signal.

I believe JC's strategy is not to win the vote of no confidence. His priority is to rule out the No Deal outcome. Once parliament does that, the tories are irremediably divided and the DUP will cease their deal with the conservatives. TM's government will self destruct.

    Cyclotricity failing, any clues?

first thing first, unplug the throttle. A stuck or sluggish throttle will disable pedal assist mode.

they are clutching at straws. I would have thought a better strategy for TM to minimise the scale of her defeat is to threaten the ERG with removing No Deal from the table to force them to support her deal instead of 'My deal or no deal'. Maybe she keeps this trump card for Wednesday.

If JC wins a concession for his early GE, he will unify Labour MPs and gain a strong momentum. it does not matter then who'll lead the tories to the next GE. They are so divided like at the time of John Major's PM-ship that they will become unelectable until they get over brexit.

the EU may give her some warm worded letter but nothing concrete on the backstop if they think she still can't get her deal through. The only way out for her is to do a deal with JC. Give him his early GE after he supports her deal.

True, but in the past, it took centuries to grow. The Single Market changed all that. Immigration shoots up from about 10% to 15%-20% in just one generation.

they fit forks with 100mm dropout. There are a dozen sellers but essentially it's a very niche thing. The main problems are weight and lack of controls. It's great to be able to ride away after spending 5 minutes swapping the front wheel but very quickly, you come to realise that to be...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

if parliament votes down TM's deal, nobody knows if parliament can produce a plan. At the moment, there is no majority for: - TM's deal - no deal - people's vote - Norway+ - Canada+ My guess it's the people's vote that will eventually collects the highest number of supporting MPs. However, I...
