    Battery percentage

When buying a ebike battery they are heavier, larger and certainly more expensive then other lithium batteries used, so your reasoning to max out the life is a good one. Looked after well there is no reason why it shouldn't last 5 years or more though by year 5 some aging will have taken place...

    Battery percentage

The cell have a charge/discharge voltage range typicall min is 3.2v and max is 4.2v, the middle voltage 3.6v is the battery nominal voltage. For a 36v battery this will be 32v & 42v respectively, though 42v is the max sometimes the charge may be a bit lower any where between 41.5v and 42v. A 36v...

    battery percentage

36v nominal storage is often recommended to be at 38 - 38.5v. Though tbh it isn't critical. I use anywhere from 36 - 38.5v and check voltage once a month.

    Brompton Cute Q70 question

The wiring in your pic above is the only standard with manufacturer's. Unsensored hubs only have the three thicker phase wires Blue,Green & Yellow. Sensored hubs have the three thicker phases and Five or Six hall sensing wires, Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and some have a sixth white for a...

Help! Main roads or side roads?

I align with Mike on this one, motons even if they see you whether at a junction or when passing someone or any other obstacle when driving. Motons will not give a damn about a cyclist. Normal people (what ever that is ) though in life they may be a complete moron as well, become a moton once...

Help! Intermittent fault on battery - causing loss of power

You will need to uncover the battery cell ends completely on both sides and take good pics. It might be a weld so using a pointed wooden kebab or lolly stick, place under each weld and gently see if any lift. If all is ok then a cell or two may have gone bad in a Parallel string, you can...

    Adding rear disc brake.

The plastic washer/spacer can be dispensed with if not needed. You can use it as spacer if you need to bring the disc outboard . Use it if the screws are long and fouls the motor (for through hole fixings on hub), though better to buy and use correct length screws.

KT-LCD3 / display or speed sensor problem?

If the hub works ok with the throttle then there is nothing wrong with the hub. An innocuous falling over can cause damage to wires by way of stretching and pinching them and possibly damage to a controller if the shock is severe enough. Check the pas wire/ connector from the controller for...

    New bike

Speak to Woosh or have your daughter speak to them direct to find the ideal bike for her from their range. Although mail order/online sales in the main, the service and back up with regards to keeping the bike on the road and the owner happy are damn good. The 15ah range is pretty much ideal...

Rear Wheel bearings size on Greenedge CS2/16

If you can rule out any rubbing, like brake disc or gears against drop out etc,etc then I would supect the LHS cover plate bearing. Typically I have found that the hub cover plate LHS bearing usually fails eventually could be 2k,3k or more miles. If you can feel the grating/roughness via manual...

KT-LCD3 / display or speed sensor problem?

Testing with Julet connectors isn't very easy, you need to try and pin point what is wrong. Having replaced lcd and pas and with a working throttle and motor, it suggests the controller or the trunk cable is at fault. If you have a multimeter you can try and test the pas wiring to see if the...

Can anyone recommend - 36v/350w/135mm/Juliet/36h compact rear hub motor for 16" wheel?

I think this is still not the tiny cassette hub motor that VFR mentioned, as Bafang do a smaller lighter 1.7kg G370.250DC hub. And my post crosses with VFR's reply.

Can anyone recommend - 36v/350w/135mm/Juliet/36h compact rear hub motor for 16" wheel?

The other thing is motor RPM you would have to inquire and ask for the RPM to suit your needs, for most 230- 250rpm in 26/28" wheel would be good. Disk holes are blind so no water ingress here.
