    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

I am betting on the 48V TSDZ2 kit as the right compromise: 80NM for climbing, 44T/46T for speed, 3.6kgs for weight.

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

for commuting, if you ride derestricted, 20mph is a good compromise, 15WH/mile to 17WH/mile on a 600WH battery system gives you 45-50 good miles. A motor like SWX02 is perfect for that, it climbs well and it's not too heavy.. The Aikema 128SX is also a good candidate, same power and little lighter.

    Replacement knee advice

I sold a bike a few weeks back to a customer who had a new left knee. He managed with a free short crank salvaged from a kid's bike. If you need a right short crank, something liike this may help...

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

hi Tim, if you want more range then you have to lower your speed. At 25mph you burn 30WH/mile, at 20mph, you burn 17WH/mile. pedaling hard does not count for much at that sort of burn rate (at best you reduce consumption by 6W/mile, average pedaling contributes 3-4W/mile),

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

if you have a 48V system, the range of voltage is 42V (empty) to 52V (full). There is nothing wrong with your kit, you still have 90%+ in the tank. Few geared motors can take 35A @ 52V.

    SWX02 48V 250W rear hub kit - 17amps

As far as I know, the controller has been programmed for 17A, you can't change this parameter. it looks like a USB plug but it's not. I got sent the tool by the factory a few years ago but did not have any cause to use it, I lost it somewhere in the workshop, still could not find it. Regarding...

Do we have a “Volt” bike representative among us?

let's start again. Can you tell us where do you live? One of us may be able to do a quick diagnosis on your battery. How many miles did you do on the bike? and how many miles on the odometer when you bought it? You may have to open the battery casing. Do you have a multitester?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

no deal = WTO deal. The ERG would not mind that we have up to 2020 to exit the SM / CU and pay £39 billion fees. They want WTO so that their backers get return on their investment in lower or no duty on sugar, wines, coffee, cars, meat etc. and if a future government is run by a Trumpist, then...

in case of WTO brexit, I think NI will stay in the SM and the border moved to the Irish Sea after the transition. The DUP will be well upset.

nowhere as clear as in the right wing press: a Brit living in the EU is called an ex-pat, an EU citizen living in the UK is called a migrant. I did like OT's eggs infographic though.

Labour is nudging closer to second referendum. Keir Starmer is on the remain side of the Labour party, he suggested that if Parliament votes down the deal (negotiated by TM or no deal), then Parliament must take the next step and all options must be on the table, including a second referendum...

it's a self defense reaction. You know that your next door neighbours can be a big help in time of crisis and yet, if you get fed up with their noisy, boisterous kids kicking balls into your garden, you won't see any good in that family.

it's a case of remainers getting punished for not being romantic. People like stories with good ending, even if it turns out to be just fiction.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Matthew Elliott of Vote Leave created that battle bus, he knew very well that the claim of £350 million for the NHS was inaccurate but effective, even now. Lots of people still believe that charity begins at home. Remainers in the government hope that their technical papers will have the same...
