    Brexit, for once some facts.

I haven't mixed opinion in giving you proven scientific fact or in giving you the ready availability of polonium 210. Patently Owen accepted in good faith the evidence from the time and being a lawyer and not a scientist would have no reason to suspect it. But it is undeniable that the twelve...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Zlatan, in answer to all your new responses: The properties of polonium 210 are well known public knowledge and freely available. No radioactive material is as familiar since it was one of the first two discovered, by the Curies of course in 1898. It cannot leave the trail that was claimed to...

    Tinging sound coming from somewhere!

Yes, spokes are the first suspect for this noise, "ringing" against each other where they cross. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You've ignored what I posted previously. The public inquiry held 12 years later relied entirely on the evidence presented after the murder. To assign blame to Russia that used entirely false information about tracing the polonium 210 trail. It was scientific nonsense. Added to that were the...

    Come on spring

Here on the South London/Surrey border we've just had a short but intense fall of snow covering again this morning, fortunately not sticking on the roads. So no sign of Spring yet. .

    Should lights be mandtory

Cycist's future could get even more dangerous without drivers. Nissan had to abort a public road demonstration of one of its robotic control cars when it skimmed a cyclist dangerously close. I've since heard an industry man say that cyclists are giving them a big problem for robotic...

The heroin really needs an "e" on the end OG. She'll be getting a call from the police otherwise. :D .

Which makes no sense for the police to be checking the car they left long before or any previous locations they'd been in. Add that no spasms were seen and I think that once again we're seeing a story more inspired by political convenience than truth. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'm fully aware of that of course and dismiss it since it still used the same totally false evidence about the polonium 210. As I said in the previous post, Berezovsky was liked by our politicians for his continuous condemnation of Putin. They look after their own interests. And of course...

    Pedal fallen off (Bosch motor)

Maybe, but it could be the pedal shaft that's more at fault than the crank arms. The motor unit makers are making or having made their special pedalshafts, something they haven't been familiar with doing, but no doubt they buy in the crank arms from standard supplies so they should be ok. .

    Pedal fallen off (Bosch motor)

It is on some of these crank motor units, as you see from the two reports above of this on the Giant Panasonic units and very many cases on the Bosch units. Because it is just on the crank motor units and not common on ordinary bikes as you say, I suspect the makers haven't appreciated the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The problem Zlatan is that these Oligarchs as we call them are actually criminals and gangsters. As the USSR broke up they and their henchmen seized assets, often by murdering the rightful owners or administrators, making themselves immensely wealthy. Like gangs everywhere they were rivals and...

    Pedal fallen off (Bosch motor)

When the first Bosch equipped bikes were released, the left hand crank arm falling off was their first reported problem for many owners. I too suffered this for a while on a Giant's Panasonic unit until I used a crazy torque force when tightening. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The key for me is that the politicians seem entirely happy for their own police to rule out foul play while they, the politicians in charge of those police, are saying the opposite. That to me looks like fact and fiction juxtaposed by agreement. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The police are seeing the big picture. They and Special Branch in communication with MI5 are no doubt aware that this story and allegations are nothing more than anti-Russian propaganda for political purposes, so as advised by military intelligence they don't waste time and rule out foul play...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'm not certain I understand your question, but meanwhile can say the majority of the USA. The Americans' phobic hatred and fear of communism has meant they've never really accepted that USSR style communism is dead. The outcome is a general policy of mistrusting opposition to Russia with...

Why Isn't Cycling Normal in London?

What utter nonsense, cyclists a rare breed in London! A third of all commuting into central London is now by bicycle and TfL say that it could be 50% within a decade on present trends. There are almost 600,000 daily commuting journeys on bikes. Travelling at the weekend from my outer London...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, and I have no problem with that. But she's made a mess of the accusations. She's reached a conclusion far too quickly and worse still, used Putin style threats on the basis of no firm evidence. There was no need for such haste and laying herself open to criticism and the case open to...

Are lithium pencil batteries overpriced and overhyped?

I've long found buying disposable alkaline in bulk is the most economic and convenient, In a test quite a while ago of AA batteries from all sources, the best performance/life/price balance were the bulk ones from Maplin. I've been using their AA and AAA for a very long time, but sadly they...
