No. The amount you get from the state pension depends how many years you and your employers paid national insurance.
You would be surprised to know how many people do not get the full state pension. With the growth of the 'gig economy', it can only get worse.
As I said all along, tories policies...
when the wheel turns backward, the clutch is engaged and you feel the resistance due to the friction of the rotating motor core. The scraping sound is usually caused by one or more corroded ball bearings - the fix is usually to replace all the four ballbearings with new ones. You can clean and...
the current best climber among my kits is the 48V SWX02 kits.
48V, winding code 16. You can chuck 1,000W into it.
winding code 16: 196 RPM at 36V, 250RPM at 48V. It climbs very well even at 800W.
the throttle is not illegal to use in any case in the UK. When you ride on the continent, respect the local laws, avoid using the throttle if you have one.
It is illegal in the UK for manufacturers to fit a twist and go throttle to a new bike. Twist and go throttles are those that let you start...
don't bother about the trucks. There will be huge queues at the Channel Tunnel ports and forget about bringing back cheap booze or taking your pot plants to your holiday home on the continent.
sometimes people look at too many variables and give up.
you can abstract brexit to just one word: take back control.
the rest can be sorted out by experts.
Japanese auto makers threaten TM to pull out if access to the EU27 is not maintained.
Japanese firms do a better job stopping the hard brexiters than our MPs. They invest 54 billion Pounds a year here.
yes, I did. Rigid fork, cantilever brakes, dropbars.. not what I would choose.
I would not consider a kit for the OP, a) there is no saving if you start by buying a new donor bike and b) the external wiring is always a weakness in kits.
something like this £2,159 would be a good base, good price:

decent components, 100mm Rockshox recon silver, SLX 11-speed, Bosch 75NM motor, 500WH battery. Easy to fit out.
the OP wants to to be able to take the bike off the tarmac'ed roads. Nimble bikes, or narrow tyres, or front motor won't be very stable, especially fully loaded.
A crank drive would be my choice.
you said long distance - how many miles do you want to ride a day? 50-70 miles? that would be easy.
for me, a good tourer needs to be stable when loaded with lots of stuff in the panniers, comfortable Dutch style upright riding position, which usually mean adjustable quill stem and front...
we'll be paying in for sometime around the same 11 billions a year. By the time we have reduced or stopped our contribution, the EU budget would have been adjusted to less than it is at the moment. The real hit to the EU is reduction in economic importance compared to other trading blocs. BTW...
we are not going to crash out.
At present, 87% of our trade is done within the SM and CU framework. I doubt much will change at the end of the 'implementation period'.
we'll kick the ball further down the road, then a dose of reality will take its course.
