    HUB MOTOR CAPABILITY

I tested it briefly, it goes well over 20mph. I'll ask Jim to give it a good run. It's still early days, may use it later on production bikes if I can get the 48V certification issue clarified.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

you made my point better than I did, how many brexiters do you expect your attitude will win over, OT?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I didn't vote for brexit but I accepted the result, possibly because it does not matter to me as much as it does you and many million others. Remainers tend to talk about economic consequences of brexit, and because brexit has not happened, that argument went nowhere, before the vote, after the...

    HUB MOTOR CAPABILITY

No, I haven't. I am on holiday at the moment, will ask Jim to check this out. The winding code is 16, that's 192 RPM at 36V, so it should be around 250 RPM at 48V, same as the current SWX02 code 12 at 36V that we sell, the 48V offers a wider range of power.

Preview of the Woosh Santana CD 2018

that would be a mouthful to spell over the phone, that may be why people shortened it to Santana. Anyway, the Santana CD 2018 costs £1,099 and comes with 15AH battery as standard. The cells are Samsung 29E.

there is no perfect answer to a complex issue like brexit. We will have to trust our guts feeling.

some is lost along the way. It still climbs better than the 36V SWX02.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

As Panorama explained, if I want to avoid paying 45% tax, I get part of my income paid to a shell company in a tax haven, the shell company is owned by a 'blind' trust, which uses the money to loan it back to me at zero interest. Thus, I would only pay tax on the part that is paid into my UK...

Preview of the Woosh Santana CD 2018

sorry about that, Hatti used to name the Woosh bikes after winds, Sirocco, Aspen, Sant-Ana, Gale etc. Over time, everyone shortened the Sant-Ana to Santana. I have now changed it to santana on the web page.

    HUB MOTOR CAPABILITY

If you have big hills to climb, how about a Bafang SWX02 code 16 48V? Slower winding means bigger torque. I run it with a Lishui 1260 48V 17A controller, 48V 12AH HL downtube battery, maximum power is about 750W. This motor is fitted with Hall sensors...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

sorry, I agree with Zlatan on this. Remainers on this thread are constantly moaning, against everything and everyone, saying very little positive about any news, such as Britons will be able to opt in the EU associate citizenship. Even arch remainers like Nick Clegg and Tony Blair get nothing on...

Preview of the Woosh Santana CD 2018

Currently at sea, the Woosh Santana CD is the first of the Woosh 2018 bikes. So what's new compared to the 2016 Santana CD? - front and rear hydraulic brakes - Shimano Deore 9-speed gearset - Automatic gear sensor - Suntour NEX suspension fork - Thumb throttle instead of twist grip - New...

    TSDZ2 On a single speed

it's not completely pointless, if you enjoy riding a single speed. The system is practically foolproof for installation, the assist level goes a long way to replace the gears. The price is not bad for a torque sensing system. To be fair, we also tested with an SRAM automatix, it's certainly...

Hi, i have CFS, wondering if an ebike is right for me and which type?

let's clarify the issue of throttle. As far as I know, they are only fitted to about half of the Chinese made bikes, so the vast majority (75% plus) of e-bikes do not have throttle. The law is the same for all those fitted with throttle: suppliers cannot supply a bike with 'twist and go'...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the tories are rightly an easy target. They are much more in power than out of it for the last 50 years, so responsible for most of the changes. If you take away their policy of lower taxes, virtually everything else they have done is harmful to the many: big bang, selling off public assets...

Hi, i have CFS, wondering if an ebike is right for me and which type?

I may have the bike you are looking for within your budget. Bikes come with different sized frames and motors: small motor for riders under 13st, medium sized for 13st-15st and large for over 15st. They all have throttle. Would you mind let us know your height and how much you weigh?

    Could this be the future?

there is no need for that. As soon as the PEM is charged, it will raise the battery's voltage above the LVC and the bike can be ridden again.

    Fascism returns to Spain

As I understand it, for the last 5 years, the Madrid government refused to discuss any change to their constitution law, forcing the Catalonian government into organising their referendum outside the Spanish constitution. The EP will soon have to discuss the issue.

    Could this be the future?

If hydrogen fuel cell is allowed to be mounted to an e-bike, why then not replacing it with a simple internal combustion engine burning something else easier to source (eg achohol)?
