    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, the UK in general does earn a place, but I live in a very different part of the UK and where I was born, London. Here we are like a different country, where attitudes often present elsewhere in the UK are very alien to most of us. I think Germany might well be higher up the xenophobia...

speculation: Does brexit make the ebike moped law null and void?

There is a vague chance we could get them, but would they be wanted? Not only would they be banned from cyclepaths etc and forced to remain on the roads, but the DfT have already created a driving licence class for them, group Q. So a driving test, compulsory third party insurance, VED disc...

No, I didn't think you were, I accepted that you were just reporting the events factually. Germany and Austria have always had their racists as WW2 showed in a horrific manner, and they reared their heads again following the war in protest against the Turks being brought in. They were to staff...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Basically yes, since only some 46% of Londoners are white British born. But we in London don't think that means London is ruined, it's just evolved and the majority of us like it. Those Germans strike me as in danger of being racist, certainly intolerant. In a globalised world such change...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Trouble is that it's their credit cards that are accepting the price rises, easy to accept. It's when the pain strikes later that the real consequences are seen. It's happened so many times before, but it seems our public will never learn. .

That would need Theresa May to be dumped by the end of March. I don't see that happening which is why I'm looking at other possibilities for undoing the notice to leave. .

The EU can offer it, using article 49, and they want us to remain. As mentioned above, the Conservative MPs could dump Theresa May and her restrictions with her. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think there's a real chance that we could remain. All the EU countries want us to remain in. I can easily envisage a scenario where the exit terms are made very harsh and unattractive, but accompanied by tempting promises and some actual changes to suit us if we remain. That could make it...

speculation: Does brexit make the ebike moped law null and void?

Either way S-pedelecs have to have separate legislation permitting them, and the DfT has been against accepting them. Having taken 15 years to get the current law on EAPCs (legal e-bikes) in place, the DfT will be in no hurry to change it again. Also, since that law is now adopted in 32...

I thought that might be the case, it's difficult to be accurate wearing gloves with stiff enough material to resist the barbs. .

It's strange, I thought one of those French cars would be an ideal town car. The only disadvantage I can see against electric is that electric sockets sufficient for a slow charge are everywhere, but adequate compressed air facilities would be limited. .

There are no rules on bananas, only a set of standards that enable buying at a distance with confidence. They enable one to know the quality etc of what one will receive. Such agreed standards are important in an open market. But anyone is free to buy at any quality standard, it's a free...
