    Great Customer Service From Woosh

Now now, Artstu. John's parts are always very decent (perhaps I'd better rephrase that?). The ones we sent him were for a refurb on one of our bikes BTW. Customer didn't want to come down to Southend and I don't blame him - Milton Keynes has a lot less traffic and John's excellent...

    Great customer service from Cyclezee

Of course it isn't your fault. I sympathise, Funnily enough I am being 'courted' by City Link. They are a wee bit dearer than PF but do a 24 hour service rather than 48. When we used them before we found them good...so I am tempted. But having said that, PF have been on first class behaviour...

    Great customer service from Cyclezee

JH and RF, you are being very rude. If I were Cyclezee whose service I know is excellent, I'd relegate you both to second class post in future. Hatti

Wissy We do an electric horn on our Big Bear. It is really loud. Most people would hear it above traffic noise or music. It would probably scare the living daylights out of pedestrians though, 'specially the elderly. Hatti

    Comedy fall

Rob F I nearly fell off my Gale folder yesterday, trying to get through a narrow gap Talk about pathetic, luckily no one around. Hope you are OK. I always go black 'n blue after a fall. Hatti

RobF Do you know the poem that starts 'For want of a nail the horseshoe was lost?' Springs to mind! Hatti

    Woosh - more dreadful service

Hi Josh, The bike was purchased on a cycle scheme, so the purchaser was the agency administering the scheme. The registered user did not have the same surname as her husband. - Sims. When the problems with gear changing first started it was the husband who reported them. I was confused...

Thanks Mike, and to everyone for support, feedback and even criticism - it all helps.. Perhaps we should all lay this to rest, get out and have a good old ride? I shall nip down to the pier in a while and maybe get a naughty but nice ice-cream while I'm there. Have a good weekend everyone...

EddiePJ I did put the customer's contact telephone number on the booking form for the collection, so Parcelforce would have had this. Trex's point was that I didn't give the customer the telephone number for the Parcelforce collecting depot which yes, I could have done. If he had had this he...

    Woosh - more dreadful service

Yes, Trex, you are right. I should have done this, it would have saved some hassle as yes, the house was in a street with no name and ii I believe a 'fairly' rural area. I'll make sure I do this if a case looks like being a problem in the future.

    Woosh - more dreadful service

Kuorider Thanks for this. On the face of it they look very good. I like the fact that the goods go straight to the local depot and not to a central hub, which is where I think most of the problems occur. I will certainly have a look at their website and hopefully speak to them early next week...

RobF £78 is from Germany to the UK, yes? And that's by air? That is excellent. I have noticed that European companies shipping from Europe to the UK are much cheaper than from us in the UK to Europe. How come? Same lorries, same driver rates (probably more, even), same distances. Makes me...

Flecc I fully agree with you on most points. I do not use DPD except for deliveries to Europe, but do use their sister company, Interlink, within the UK for our smaller parcels and batteries. Their software is excellent and as you say, keeps the customer fully up to date. Parcelforce also have...

    Sales figures

You are right, RobF. Actually, does anyone have a very accurate figure for annual E bike sales in the UK? I certainly don't know for sure. Some estimates have been as low as 15K for 2013 and some for 35K. What are they based on I wonder? Time to google up lots of dull facts and figures I guess...

Flecc DPD are part of Interlink. Fast overnight service, extremely polite drivers but because they use conveyor belts have damaged our bike cartons in the past. Despite assurances that they handle large parcels manually they don't, whilst Parcelforce do and cause far less damage. See my very...

David I did say on another thread that due to workload I shall not be posting much over the next few days. However since I am still at work at 20h30 and due to the fact that you seem intent on criticizing me, I feel compelled to reply. Firstly, I do not feel that Woosh has given you dreadful...

    Does size really matter?

David As I stated in my email to Kudos Dave I am very busy and you will find posts from me extremely rare. I pay the utmost attention to all my customers. This includes you, having offered you a very cooperative solution to the problem you had with changing gears on your Santana CD. I...

    Does size really matter?

Kudos Dave, I can appreciate that you may get riled by Trex but he is not employed by me officially or otherwise and therefore , I think, has every right to post on here - as does anyone. He is a good friend dating back for many years, is extremely clever (scientific background) but I...
