    Bafang hydraulic sensor

Spezelec Sorry, I do not know who you are. It seems like you have purchased a Bafang kit from us but these do not come with hydraulic brake sensors - they come with standard brake levers. Could you please let me know when and exactly what you purchased from us so we can try and help you better?

    Rack Mounted Battery - Woosh

Hi Jerry I can offer you a 10A battery, like the one we fit to the Petite, for £200 plus £12 carriage but seeing that its you I could perhaps be persuaded to throw in the rack for free. I do need to check the rack fittings however as the last time our supplier sent them the design changed very...

Idea - bike hackerspace in london?

Hi Cwah The idea is good, I like it. . Here's a suggestion: I rent some garage space somewhere in central - east London with electricity and put perhaps 4 or 5 of my bikes as demos in there. You get to use the space for free whenever you want in exchange for showing potential customers my...

    Choices, Choices!!

Sorry to resurrect this older thread but I was away for a couple of days. As I find the Gallego very easy to fold, I thought a short video would be helpful to show you how. It literally takes 2 seconds to fold and 2 to unfold. Hatti.

Greeting From The Blue Mountains, Australia

EB Steve How lucky you are to live where you do. I spent 4 days in the Blue Mountains just after Christmas last year and am sorely tempted to set up a Woosh agency there. Some of the hills are real killers and would be a challenge for any bike, even E bikes with good motors, but it would be a...

    pothole accident

Cwah I really hope you 're OK. It must have been horrible. Locally to me there are some truly dreadful potholes. I have learned to keep an eye out for them but you can't always do that. I think councils would react a bit quicker if someone started suing them. They also need to repair the...

Charging ahead: the electric bike revolution has arrived in Britain - E-bikes in the Telegraph

Hi all Nicely written piece in today's paper. Comments are a bit negative though. Maybe some of you would like to post your thoughts and build up the defence.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/festival-of-business/11440527/Charging-ahead-the-electric-bike-revolution-has-arrived-in-Britain.html

    Oil Price Drop

Hi all To bring this into context (a bit) with electric bikes, I am currently writing this from Adelaide, sunny south Australia, where unleaded is just 60p per litre. There are, I think, a lot of`candidates for e bikes here: over 60s (lots), decidedly chubbies (lots, must be all that lovely ice...

    Christmas Bike Poem

Bit early. Never mind. Thought this up last night when I couldn't get to sleep. Please complete by adding your own last 4 lines. Include the name of your bike if you like or traders, promote your brand! Best entry will get a nice bottle of something from me but not til January when I come...

    Massive Praise for Woosh bikes

Really glad we could help crE, and also pleased you got to see some of our newer bikes. Yep, have to say that for Woosh at least A to B are way out of date. Our beautiful pink Angel retailed at £299 many years ago and was subject some extremely rude remarks from Eddieo. We don't have them...

comments from strangers when out on your ebike....

Took my Petite out yesterday, pootled slowly past 3 or 4 lads of about 12 who all started shouting out how slow I was. So I upped the assist to 5 and pushed down the throttle. Heard one of them say 'Blimey'...(or words to that effect, I am in deepest darkest Essex after all)...... So the laugh...

    Woosh sirocco help

Roadstar I take it you bought this bike second hand? Only we clearly would not have supplied it new with wires cut and various things taped so I am guessing the previous owner did this for some reason. D8veh is right, we are well stocked for spares. Email us - support@wooshbikes.co.uk - and...

    Thinking of getting bike

Kerry Thank you for raising the points about the warranty as they are important. I hope I can clarify things for you. Any warranty, ours included, must cover manufacturing defects. So if for example a pedal or a wheel rim had a crack or fissure, creating a fundamental weakness in the...

    Cycling in London (again)....

Yes, you are right. Most were zipping along at, I would say, getting on for 20mph, a few slower and a few probably faster , even, than that. Do you think that the speed limitation of the ebike has something to do with their apparent lack of popularity in London then?I also noticed that the vast...

    Cycling in London (again)....

Driving up to London yesterday at peak time - 8am. Longish cycle path along the A127 between Ilford and Wanstead. Look in my left hand mirror and see one after the other 3 motor bikes all zooming along the cycle path at around 40 mph. Nuts or what? Late afternoon had the chance to sit in...
