    Extreme e-biking

Ettica What a good idea and I'm sorry it didn't work out. I've no doubt the surgery is worried about liability (ie 'we're not insured if he/she falls off, has an accident / damages bike etc etc). If so, nothing you can do to change this....I've come across it many times. Soldier on. Hatti

Two years inside for supplying non UN38.3 batteries

Well I'm confident we're OK. But if not, I've heard that Holloway or Pentonvillle are quite nice these days - visitors welcome. Hatti

    Extreme e-biking

Bob Sherunkle is a really great guy! We felt really chuffed to have helped a bit with such a good cause plus delighted that he had a good time. It sounds like I should think about doing the same, problem being I wouldn't manage 80 miles a day - more like 30 at best, plus frequent stops...

Selling Electric Bikes on The Apprentice

Too right Lynda! We'd have sold hundreds (or would we? maybe we would rather have sold Tonaros and Wooshes!) I have to agree that they weren't clued up and although e bikes are complicated in some ways to sell they should perhaps have done a bit more homework. I loved the posh guy who said...

Less chance of arrest on a Woosh!

Funkylyn Yes, definitely up for personal protests, I've got loads of things I could harp on about. Good idea about the placard to hide our bits - Calendar Girls 2. As you know, the weather might put the mockers on it all, so I shall take along a big jumper just in case. Hatti

Less chance of arrest on a Woosh!

Loads of things to protest about.! War, government, cuts, 250 watt motors, you name it.....suggestions on a postcard. Lets hope its warm April next year though. Exposing one's bits in the cold if it isn't doesn't bear thinking about..... Hatti

Less chance of arrest on a Woosh!

Now before you all get excited...none of these is me. (I was working yer honour, 'onest). This ecology-based protest took place in London yesterday. Those partaking stripped off, jumped on their bikes and pedalled away as fast as they could, avoiding arrest for indecent exposure amongst other...

Woosh Chain Drives in larger frame sizes

Hi Jim, I can ride the Gale folding bike, no problem, also at a push the Zephyr (standard or CD, retaining seat bolt keeps the rider height fairly high) but for a proper road bike my choices would be either the Sirocco Sport (cross bar style, fairly high leg-over-swing) or the Santana (nice...

Woosh Chain Drives in larger frame sizes

Just to clarify, the Woosh Sirocco and Santana CDs will still be available in the smaller frame size (18") and 26" wheels (for those of you who won't be eating all their Weetabix). Hatti

Woosh Chain Drives in larger frame sizes

For anyone interested, the Woosh Sirocco and Santana chain drives will come in larger frame sizes from mid June onwards. Frame size 20", wheel size 700C (28"). (Too big for me I'm afraid, I'm 5 ft 2"!) Price will be the same. Hatti

    Woosh Zephyr CD, review anyone?

Mikey Bikey That sounds like an excellent idea. How clever! Does anyone have one I could beg steal or borrow (or of course buy) to try? If it works we would certainly look to getting it installed on future orders. Hatti

    New from Woosh, mileage predictor

Hi all Lovely day down here, makes a change. We have added hill indicator to the predictor, so you can be aware of any really steep bits. If you now create your route from A to B, it will show the elevation chart from start to finish. If you are thinking of buying a bike from us and click on...

    New from Woosh, mileage predictor

Hi again, A killer hill indication might well be very useful - we'll look at that. D8veh, the invalid post code bug has now been fixed, thank you for telling us. Also, your problem with the A5 doesn't seem to have an immediate solution - manually looking up Google is no better, there are a lot...

Hi We've added the Sport (thanks Annie) and also added a 'No highways' feature for you Baldylox so you can now go along quieter roads for your icecream (one of our friends belongs to the Rodda family BTW, well known for ice cream down there?). But you can also just plot your course in one way...

    New from Woosh, mileage predictor

We've a new addition on our website. Click on our Predictor program and type in your town or post code. It will then tell you which of our bikes would be suitable for a range of distances from that point outwards - handy, we hope, 'specially for commuters. Commuting Range Predictor | Woosh...
