    EBike Built like mopeds?

As its been made so easy to de-restrict, then maybe the seller\promoter fully expects riders to do so.

E-bike seizures surge as police take 'death traps' off the streets

Indeed. As well as comments from Sir Iain Duncan Smith who seemed disappointment that the changes the Conservatives were going to introduce for cycling offenses were abandoned because of the election, see the '5. Establishing new offences' section in the document below...

The New Brompton G Line Electric

10, maybe even 5 years ago I was happy enough using my Brompton, originally bought for commuting, for environmentally friendly local trips. The significant advantage of the Brompton is that you don't have to leave it outside shops\doctor etc to be nicked, it folds real small and rolls around so...

    Thumb throttle not working

Are you using the bike in the UK ?

The New Brompton G Line Electric

Agreed. And I doubt the British workers at Brompton would be prepared to take a massive pay cut to make the bikes cheaper.

The New Brompton G Line Electric

On my DIY converted eBrompton, I dumped the 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub gear and set up for 3 cogs on the rear derailleur shifter. This save a lot of weight. These 3 gears are plenty and for Urban use, I almost never shift it out of top gear, the motor takes up the slack on most all hills.

The New Brompton G Line Electric

My folded eBrompton (16" Wheels) is 35cm wide x 62cm high x 60cm deep. I keep it folded under a table in my workshop, it took me 20 seconds to measure the dimensions.

Put it in a corner and measure the limits with a 1M rule, or use a stick and pencil.

The New Brompton G Line Electric

Never heard of them causing problems. I have never had an issue myself, but I have only been riding Bromptons for 20+ years.

The New Brompton G Line Electric

It would be an interesting comparison if you were to measure it, its only a few seconds to fold\unfold.

The New Brompton G Line Electric

So as a comparison, what are the folded dimensions of your Dahon ?

The New Brompton G Line Electric

    Battery Fires

So not withstanding that the battery monitor in a KT controller might be a tad confused by an LFP and not show the correct charge state, is there anyone building eBike batteries with these cells, even maybe custom ?

    Battery Fires

Of course it is. I actually have a third motor wheel, but I need to do a repair on the motor and change the rim.

    World’s Lightest Bosch E-Bike

I have two motor wheels, one bought from TOPBIKEKIT on Ali and another from a previous Swytch kit. Standard cables, inline brake sensor, KT controller, PAS and LCD4 display. Battery is a custom build 10S1P of 21700 cells, although when I get round to it and change the front controller\battery...

    World’s Lightest Bosch E-Bike

So my DIY eBrompton is about 3Kg lighter, folds smaller, uses standard easily replaceable parts and cost around 1/3rd the price. $7,500 for a heavy 15Kg bike is a lot.

Indeed, and its very clear from the series that she has a good understanding of the details of the evidence of the case. The part of Maggies speech about the need for 'de-regulation' is in Episode 2 05:00.
