I did the same, first positioned the magnet with a bit of double sided tape. Adjusted position so that it switched correctly. Then drilled a pilot hole throught the hole in the centre of the magnet and secured it with a small self tapping screw.

Also on the newer Swytch kit the 'Max' battery is 5Ahr, which may not provide enough range for some. There have been a few posts on here asking about how to add additional non Swytch batteries for longer range. No-one seems to have managed that hack yet.

Whoosh does two versions of a Brompton conversion kit; one puts the battery controller on the front Brompton block, the other used a bag battery on the handlebar. With the battery\controller bag on the handlebar, when the brompton is folded down the bag is on the outside edge of the folded bike...

Has anyone built one of those Vruzend no-weld kits ? Just wondering what the outside dimensions of each of the holders are.

Depends on the battery, what does the label say the voltage should be. A lot of eBike batteries are known as 36V batteries, and would show around 41V when fully charged. The displayed 33.1V would be quite low for such a battery, not far from motor cut off.

You might think that is what the manufacturers want.
