Yes, interesting. Maybe more modern ones are different. Lots of stuff about eBike fires in the news these days, not much about power tool fires.

You can get a kit that is the battery holder, PCB, and internals for building your own. Thats £40 though.

And no-doubt a ready second hand market. Got an old Bosch powertool battery ? So buy an adapter and sell the set for eBike use on eBay.

The batteries in the 6Ahr pack do have a 10A rated charge I beleive, so should be OK for 15A. As for routinely doing a 1hr charge, you would think that is going to 'quickly' reduce battery life, but then if you have a holder, easy enough to use your own charger.

Why not provide it ? If you use of a '3000W' eBike is legal, what do you have to worry about ?

Have your own printed, these 37mm diameter ones below cost £2.40 delivered; Plenty of spares.
