Not had a problem with taking the Brompton shopping. It pushes around like a shopping trolley on its own small wheels. The Litepro Easy Wheel add on makes the Brompton more stable whilst being pushed. I have just fitted some omni wheels for the other set of wheels to make steering it...

The 'nominal' voltage is only an invented value. In use a Lithium Ion battery might start at 4.1V fully charged (per cell) and be considered as discharged at 3.0V or matbe a bit higher. So the 'nominal' volage is ?

Interesting. I was thinking a Brompton conversion, one of the tool batteries could be placed on the top tube by the saddle. Would not impact the fold so much, although the saddle might not go down so low. Small battery maybe, but enough for most Brompton trips which tend to be short.

Agreed. I would assume that 'Vigilantism' is enforcing the law without authority. All a cyclist with a camera is doing is providing evidence to the Police so that the Police can enforce the law.

To dissapate 40watts, the MOSFET would need to be on a heatsink of 3c per watt, or better. See picture below of a typical 3c per watt heatsink. With the heatsink being the alluminium box only, I would guess the effective heatsink is maybe 10c per watt, so the MOSFET would only be able to...

Where was the MOSFET fitted, i.e. was it on a heatsink ? The max power rating would likely only be relavent if there is heatsink involved.

Possibly cheaply bought parts that were not quite up to the full spec of the SMK1060F.

If the MOSFET did really go short and blow the fuse, you might try a resistance test with a multimeter, that should show a short on the MOSFET if there is one.

If the laser is reflected off a flat mirror or polished bare metal surface then perhaps this might be a problem. But if reflected off non mirrors, pools or water other surfaces, you would expect the laser to scatter and not be a dazzeling point source. Could of been a problem in years gone...

More likley that very few drivers know that a specific speed is quoted for 'slow moving'. And if a driver knows the limit and cannot judge the 10mph, then they should not overtake.

From the first picture on the website, the driver of the car is doing an overtaking manouvre not permitted if you were cycling at more than 10mph ?

Do appreciate that some forum members are reluctant to advise on what is potentially illegal activity, its also against forum rules.
