    Inverter/Power Pack

Output: 36V 2A Output: 42V 2A Its likley, that if the '36V' charger is for an eBike battery, then it will be providing 42V @ 2A to fully charger the battery. Thats; 42V * 2A = 84 Watts. Now the charger will use some power itself, it will 'only' be around 85-90% efficient. Thus it will need...

Has anyone tried laser tail lights, which project red lines on the road?

Does anyone do a laser rear light that can project text of your choice onto the road behind you ? Projecting this for instance; "If you can read this you are too close"

    Inverter/Power Pack

Its not clear what you are intending to use to power the chargers, or which batteries you want to charge. If the campervan is on mains hookup, just use your normal (mains powered) charger.

why is this even up for debate?

So if, as in the Bridgend case, the driver initially refuses to co-operate, how can anyone know if the reasons are 'perversity or principle' ?

why is this even up for debate?

In the Bridgend case it appears the fines escalated because 'on principle' the driver ignored reasonable requests (from the courts) for a simple outcome. It seems to make sense that if you object to something 'on principle' you tell them.

1.5m is guidance according to the highway code; "As a guide: leave at least 1.5 metres when overtaking cyclists at speeds of up to 30mph, and give them more space when overtaking at higher speeds" Not seen any evidence that the driver was actually fined for being within the 1.5m...

why is this even up for debate?

And how often, when out walking these days, do you need to step out of the way of someone who is looking intently at some electronic device in their hand. It must be common sense, with no need for a publicity campaign by the authorities, that you look where your going when out walking in...

Does the video suggest the driver of the van, hitting the cyclist, is within the 20mph limit for the road ?

why is this even up for debate?

Indeed, how could anyone agree with that ? The higheway code gives the guidelines, to even suggest that they can be ingored (as in you only get prosecuted if there is a victem) is complety nuts.

The fine, and license points, could have been easily avoided I believe; "Mr Humphreys had been offered a place on a driver awareness course as an alternative to prosecution after it received footage of the incident. "Mr Humphreys, of Pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, also later failed to comply...

why is this even up for debate?

The courts would aparently dissagree with you. Why would someone who goes to the trouble of getting good evidence of motorists breaking the law be a 'saddo' ? We dont know for sure, but maybe the next time the driver involved attempts a 'perfectly safe' pass of a cyclist, the will give a bit...

    Solar trailer rides again!

Now that looks familiar; in times gone past I spent a week kayaking in the area, including the Tilt which goes past Blair Castle.

    Solar battery charging for ebikes.

There are several Videos on YouTube about the MPT7210A charger, and whilst it does appear to charge batteries OK, there is doubt that actually does maximum power point tracking (MPPT). So for a fixed installation, which is what at I am thinking of doing, a 12V solar panel charging a lead...

    Solar battery charging for ebikes.

Me too. Hope to build a bike storage locker near the from of my house. Getting a mains cable there for battery charging might not be low cost. However a Simple solar charger setup would be another possibility.
