As the title says, looking to replace my current rear hub motor with one that is 'legal', but has enough torque to get me up hills on my 26inch Halfords conversion. :) I have (see pics below) a controller (17A continuos / 35A peak), and a display (KT LCD8H) with a 17.5Ah LG celled battery...

After adding two of the cheapo torque arms on my rear hub and redoing mechs so everything fitted together better (I think local bike guy tried to kill me on at least three occasions past cpl years..), I'd gotten a little cocky and stopped checking the rear hub before each trip. Anyway it spun...

My rear hub is approx 24cm in diameter = 9.5 inches, can I use a 8inch gear puller (pictured) or does the inches they are quoted as mean the max diameter they open to? Does anyone here have a gear puller that would fit that size of hub (1500W), if so what size is it? thanks
