    HI D8veh, thanks, i think you are right about the throttle, as it doesn't connect to the LED outside the controller, like the diagram suggests. The LED for the PAS seems to have 5 selection though. so far i have worked out no lights = PAS off light over low=low light over med=medium light...

    ok thanks this is starting to become clearer. so when al low/med/high are lit does that not mean anything then? So if i choose to turn off the PAS, by pressing the (-) so no lights on low/med/high section are lit, what happens to the speed of the throttle? does it just default to low? reason...
