I thought you get 1mph more as the wheel will need to rotate further to reach same speed. But because it has higher circumference in reality that means you get a bit more speed. If that makes sense :) I feel I'm going faster even though I'm going at 15.6mph but it could just be in my head...

I had the the circumference of tyre reduced to lowest as I was told wheel size is fixed. It does feel slightly faster but cuts out same speed as before. Is that right?

Right but I could also be going 14mph even though it's showing 15.6. Howe do I go about checking exact speed and then raising to higher limit if at all possible. I don't want points on my licence for roding a bike :)

I'm talking about legal speed being increased to 17.5mph :) How can I get my bike to the top end of the tolerance so it is within legal limit. 17mph would be fine.
