Thanks for the help.its standard stem for threaded headset.I built this thing from scrap and probably going to change the forks so not worries about getting new headset and stem .i love this thing more than my motorcycle! .

Hi guys n girls my ebikes having a sex change. The forks are threaded but to long and I can't get the screw down nut plate thingy past the threads so I can use spacers on top.i need to get the adjuster plate to move down fork steerer to add pressure?here is a photo...help!!
