    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Old question but someone might find it relevant. The blue light is on the battery itself, to show the battery is switched on. The red/green light the manual refers to is on the charger not the battery, red is charging, green is fully charged.

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

The only time i felt we needed brake cut-off sensors on our Wayfarer is negotiating through those metal hoop barriers you get at the ends of footpath/alley ways, where you go left, right, left to get through them, the motor can kick in with half a turn of the pedals just when you don't want it...

    Wisper ebikes

We have 2 Wisper Wayfarers and a Woosh Rambletta in the family, and aside from a couple of niggles they've all been excellent purchases. Aftersales has been excellent for both too.

2 Wisper Wayfarers have very different motor assist power??

I've had a reply from Wisper uk. The wayfarer with the AKM motor will need a software update and after that it will ride the same as our other one.

2 Wisper Wayfarers have very different motor assist power??

I'm slowly getting more info on this searching internet. The later 2022 Wayfarer uses an AKM motor and the earlier Wayfarer uses an SY motor. Wisper list each controller specific to the motor, and they're not interchangeable as connections and number of wires is different. Presume the later...

2 Wisper Wayfarers have very different motor assist power??

Hi all, We have 2 Wisper Wayfarer bikes both with 43v 700wh batteries. One was bought September 2020 new, and the other recently bought secondhand and is 2 years old, so about 2022. The issue is that in the same riding modes, ie in Tour, the early Wayfarer bike will get up to 15mph with no...

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Just an update as I had another pedelec post remind me of this, there is no motor cutoff switch/sensor on the brake levers. So pedal half a turn and the motor kicks in but stops after about 2 seconds, in that time only your brakes being applied quickly can stop the bike moving forward as there...

Wisper Wayfarer - hard to ride

I know this is an old thread but it's a current bike in the Wisper range so i think its worth confirming his safety issues, our Wisper Wayfarer H7 cadence also doesn't have motor cut-off sensors wired into the brake levers. It's especially unnerving when negotiating bollards or metal barriers at...

    Rambletta or Raleigh Motus

Can I just add an update to my Woosh Rambletta. 1500+ miles to date, 3 1/2 years ownership and it's still rides perfect, credit to Woosh. Great bike. No issues at all. Range is 35-38miles with the 12ah battery, I'm actually looking to buy a 2nd battery to carry for longer rides to compare to my...

Are there any 500AH Bosch frame-mount PowerPacks available (new or good second-hand)?

I just phoned Raleigh for the price of a Powerpack 500 downtube mounted one for a 2021 Raleigh Motus Grand Tour. £800 but it can only be ordered through one of their dealers. 2 in stock in the UK. Part no.027 500 7530.

    Rambletta or Raleigh Motus

I don’t know, all I know is the original pivot pin on my one was typical Chinese quality, it was guillotined when should be cut/sawn to length and it was also barely long enough(see photo). I made a guide tube to drill through the blind hole and keep the alignment perfect, then reamed and fitted...

    Rambletta or Raleigh Motus

I’ve had my Woosh Rambletta bike for well over a year. Here is mine. Out the box they are perfectly fine to get you into the e-bike world. Looking at mine you can see where I’ve upgraded parts. I’ve now got a Brompton 50t chainset, a chainring guide, Avid BB7 front brake setup, 8spd thumb...

    Bag kits for Brompton

The Brompton in their photo is the B75 base model which uses older components like levers, handlebars, gears etc. Newer Brompton’s have updated components. They‘re great bikes aren’t they! I got a 2019 M3L Brompton.

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Yes the LCD display needs a brightness adjuster for sure, i don't ride our Wayfarer as i have myself a Woosh Rambletta which i use to commute, so our Wayfarer is daytime use only when my partner comes out for bike rides so the lcd isn't an issue. Ours is almost a year old now and been very nice...

New E-Bike up to 2.5k, looking for reliability and range

We have the new Wisper Wayfarer with a 43v 700wh battery. Brilliant bikes, just done a 30 mile ride today, still over half battery left, build quality is actually pretty decent.

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

New addition to our Wayfarer, I fitted this a couple of weeks ago over the Christmas period. It's a CycleChic front basket, my partner's been using the Wayfarer regularly for ride outs and she's very impressed with it.
