The walk mode is literally that. Set from 0 to 1,2, or 3 then twist the throttle. It will drag you up a hill nicely.. but at walking pace.

I have 36ish on the larger connectors so I know I'll get supply. That isn't an issue really. It's whether I can charge it stand alone. Looked at the official chargers and they are ridiculously expensive. Whether someone managed to find a suitable replacement charger would be helpful tbh.

Yeah things have definitely changed a lot since 2007. It does hammer the battery so either use an aux pack if you still want the range.
