    Best lock for my ebike

Is it worth registering the lock with OnGuard or a waste of time. Richard

    Best lock for my ebike

Just bought the OnGuard 8001 Brute D lock and it looks a great piece of kit and it appears to be exactly like the Halfords one. Is it recommended to give the internals a good spray with silicone lubricant as I've read many reviews saying their lock had jammed.

    Best lock for my ebike

I've just been into Halfords and had a look at their D locks and their Advanced lock https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-accessories/bike-locks/halfords-advanced-23cm-d-lock-225478.html looks very similar to the Onguard Pitbull. Anyone know if it is and why Halfords rate theirs as Diamond...

    Best lock for my ebike

Having scoured all the likely sellers I can't see any D lock which will go around my seat tube and the wheel and allow locking to something substantial. So I'm resigned to having to buy a 230mm D lock and just locking the frame to the rear wheel where the motor is. I guess I could buy a second d...

    Best lock for my ebike

Hi Andy, thanks for that, I hadn’t considered an alarm. I was going to have a cable through wheels and lock but it’s the D lock I need to sort out so I can secure the bike to something substantial.

    Best lock for my ebike

I've got a Grand Camino ebike from Woosh and have been looking at suitable bike locks like the Abus Granit X-plus. The problem I have is that the distance from the rim to the outside of the seatpost tube is about 170mm. I could buy a standard u lock but then I wouldn't be able to lock it to a...

    Best security locks?

Just about to take delivery of my first ebike. What does everyone recommend for security locks. I'm looking for something which is not too have so can be carried in a backpack. Do you leave the battery attached or take with you? Richard

There are several options available when ordering a Bafang BBS kit but can someone point me to a description on the operation and functions of each please?

Without riding is there anyway you can tell the coindition of the battery? It's a Bosch motor and battery.

    Buying 2nd hand.

When buying 2nd hand how can you tell the condition of the battery? How long do they last? The bike I'm looking at is a 2017 model and has done about 3000 miles for commuting. Richard

Where would you recommend buying e-conversion kits from?

Has anyone bought from PswPower? If so are the duty and vat all paid true, or is there some hidden costs? Has anyone had any problems or warranty issues with Chinese suppliers? If so how did you get on?

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

So do the regulations limit the power for 'old' converted bikes with new kits?

Where would you recommend buying e-conversion kits from?

Looks quite expensive compared to Woosh and Brighton Bikes.

Where would you recommend buying e-conversion kits from?

Considering a Bafang BBS01/02. Would you buy from a UK supplier or overseas suppliers such as AliiExpress, PWSPower or Chinese Ebayers. At the moment the UK appears to have no stock of motors or batteries. But offshore suppliers are around 7-10 days. If you buy from say PSWPower is it really...

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

You mention the KT advanced controller systems, but do all kits from Woosh need this or are the kit controllers good enough? I'm swaying toward a DWG22C or XF08 CST

Newbie considering an e-conversion. But what.

So cadence sensing it is, so that's one question answered but what about the others? Rear hub or mid-drive? 36v or 48v systems? Battery size to cover my ride type?
