I never thought of that, but you're right :) I live on top of a cliff with two separate beach coves behind my house, and I do take it for granted, but like you, I make more of the sea elsewhere (mind you our beach is shingly and a 'pepper sand' beach is far superior)

Aw, OP....(hugs) Did you pay much for the bike? I'm wondering if you have spent a just smallish amount, it would be worth spending a bit to get the bike working properly?? The other alternative is to put it back on ebay, and start afresh....(depressing I know, but it could be the best option)...
