OK....as a female can i just say....lycra doesnt generally do it at least not for me, padding doesnt usually fool us and whilst I have no objections to the occasional sweaty man its not usually after he has cycled to work LOL

Lynda.....currently getting quite sweaty herself on my 2 week cycling holidays !
Have you had any good rides yet Lynda?
Coincidentally, I did intend to go for a ride myself today having spent half the weekend in bed, but got completely engrossed in other activities.

Oh yes.......pretty spectacular really....enough to give me a sore bottom anyway...will have to rest up when i continue on my way up to cumbria tomorrow. Hope it was nothing nasty that had you in bed all weekend ? Hope your other engrossing activities made you feel better ? God this samsung galaxy is slow to email on or perhaps its my connection i am camped up on a little pub site near some woods....quite close to the M1.

A yes Lynda, the M1, know it well, I went up just this afternoon.
Infact, I have been up and down so much this weekend, I don't know whether I am coming or going, do you know what I mean?

Oh, was the site in Ridgmont by any chance, they do a reasonable Sunday lunch there. It can get a bit busy with families and boisterous kids though.

Please don't take this as an ageist remark Tony, it's good to know you are aware of fashion trends when it comes to beach wear.
I have little interest in what the male population wear on the beach or elsewhere for that matter, I do have greater interest what women wear and make no apology for that. Personally, I dress for comfort and the weather conditions. OK, I know I rode round London naked and it was a fashion disaster..........really should have left the helmet off! But some people really should have a good look in the mirror before leaving home.
Thongs, skimpy shorts and cropped tops look great on the right body, but if you are a 20 stone man with a beer gut, please please please just don't do it even if you do feel the urge!

I agree fully....

There's:

and there's:

And just for the guys who like to see a lady sporting tight lycra on the beach:

I agree, but you are guilty of sexism in saying this, since I'd venture to suggest that gross and objectionable female forms are at least as abundant, and in my opinion slightly more so. I also enjoy the best of female forms, but in a different context can appreciate a fine male form too.

What I was objecting to is the sexist discrimination that leads to even someone like Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro being the subject of mickey-taking when he dared to wear shorter shorts. Ronaldo can hardly be regarded as having a substandard body, many if not most women regard him as being exceptionally easy on the eye.

Ah so close and yet so far Lynda, maybe next time we can have a ride together;)

As for the noise, I would suggest turning your music up to drown it out it. I'm not really a country fan, but Tim McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow does it for me, Yeh Yeh Yeh Yeh!

OK Tony, once again you are right and I hold my hands up, I prefer women to men;) I do think though we have to agree beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some people are seriously in need of an eyesight test.
