Hi I was interested in switching the standard sprocket on the Agattu C8 ( 21t I believe ) to a smaller sprocket. I have read people switching it down to 18t for the ability to pedal at higher speed, has anyone used a 16t sprocket?
Would there be any disadvantage/damaging affect on the impulse system?
I am guessing it may reduce range a little, I'm a fairly strong rider and the bike provides more than enough assistance on the mid range of gears even on steep inclines at the moment. I think the chain ring is 38t.
