Hi all,
I'm looking to get my first e-MTB mainly for off-road and mountain biking. I'm currently considering the 2025 Haibike AllTrack 10 with the 800Wh battery and would love to hear what people think of it—especially in terms of value for money, spec, and trail performance.
One thing I noticed when test riding an e-bike a while back was how restrictive the 15.5mph (25km/h) cut-off felt for proper trail riding. I understand the legal limits and warranty implications, but I’d like to know if it’s possible to switch this restriction off (and back on again) when riding safely and off-road.
Can the 2025 AllTrack 10 be de-restricted, or have Haibike/Bosch blocked this?
Am I better off finding a 2024 model instead?
What’s the best/safest/most discreet way to go about it (dongle, chip, app)?
Has anyone used SpeedBox, Peartune, VOLspeed, etc. with the new Bosch Smart System?
Long-term, I want the bike to last without causing issues. I’d really appreciate any insights from riders who've gone down this path.
Thanks
