Not a very technical problem but frustrating for me.
I am having difficulty inserting and removing my battery on my 806 folder.

There is a lot of resistance in the last third bit, where the rail doubles before the lock pin.

Noone can see a problem. I keep having to ask for help when I am out and about on it.

Would it be an idea for me to try some sort of grease?

It was not this bad before I had to put it away for a bit.

Any ideas appreciated....

Christine.

You must be showing it to the wrong people. When everything is in line, the battery will slide in easily. If it doesn't slide in, something is out of line. Anyone with any mechanical bent, should be able to figure out what is out of line and straighten it. If you brought it to my house in Telford, it would be fixed in 2 minutes. Did you take it back to the Wisper dealer? Where do you live, maybe somebody can make a suggestion where to take it?

Another problem is that if it's too straight, the battery will rattle, so it needs to be bent just enough.

Thanks, I'll have a few more people look at it.
I am near Bangor. West End in Llandudno Junction used to be a dealer , now under different owners.
