A123 20AH prismatic ultra cheap

I've seen this 7s3p A123 module in endlessphere for... 283.3$:

Super specs too:
A123 20ah prismatic is: 480g, and 7.0X166X227mm or 205.6 cm^3
133 wh/kg!

That's ultra-cheap, the only hurting things is the shipping cost at $200+


Maybe some of us would be interested for a combined purchase to reduce the cost? It also needs a fair bit of DIY to remove the cells and use them to an ebike.

But what a price!! 13,50$/cell!!

Anyone interested?

Not sure about the price, but it should be way cheaper than pre-made pack.

So how would you connect 3X12v in series AND ensure all the cells were balanced? One sort of A123 12v pack they do has a BMS but these don't I think. If each had a BMS then would there have to be some sort of diode protection between them when connected together?

I asked them and they can install a BMS on it.

Unfortunately, they quoted my 29.75$/cell. That's way more expensive than the Bauer module. Not sure if I'm going to buy it as I don't know how to attach balance plug to the cells..
