Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi Guys, I recently moved into a 2nd floor apartment and had to sell my ADO A20F as it was way too heavy to be carrying up and down the stairs (I'm getting old lol), I've owned the bike for 3 years and used it to commute to work whenever the weather was warm and dry, I absolutely loved it and my journeys were enjoyable on it.

I've just ordered an ADO Carbon and I'm starting to worry that without gears I may have just spent a lot of money on a bike that isn't going to be as capable as my previous one. Does anyone on here have any experience with the Carbon model or the single speed Air 20 that uses the same motor, I believe its the Bafang H410.

Also is there anyway to squeeze a bit more power out of the Bafang H410 if I do find it lacking in power?

Thanks in advance.

How much power you need and whether you need gears or not depends on your weight and the type of hills you have to climb, and also yourlevel of fitness. You didn't give us that information.

I thought that was clear when I said my A20F made the journey enjoyable, so was kind of looking to compare it to that, and for someone who has experience of using an Air 20, Carbon, or just someone with a Bafang H410 motor to see how they find them.

I'm 45, relatively fit, about 12 stone, and the hills on my commute are nothing too major, although its not all flat.

In that case it'll be fine except on downhills, where you have to freewheel because you can't pedal fast enough unless you have a background in BMX.
