I bought a Wisper 905SE City from the Cambridge Cycle shop about five years ago to pull my toddler in a trailer. Sadly the bike wasn't used much as I found it a bit scary going downhill with all that weight (and there are a lot of hills here in Derbyshire). Since then it has sat in the (nice dry) garage and I am just now getting around to wanting to sell it but have not charged the battery and fear it is past redemption. Can anyone give me any advice on what is the best thing to do to sell it? The bike itself is in very good nick and little used but with a dead battery...? Thanks for any words of wisdom.

As it is, it's only fit for spares or repairs if the battery is dead.
These are about 1500 or so new, a new battery is circa 550 so although in nice hardly used condition you may get 200ish is my guess. It will probably only appeal to someone who knows what they are looking at and are willing to buy a new battery.
Have you tried charging to see if it holds up at all, there may be a slim chance it may recover but probably may well be dead, at the end of the day a working eapc is worth more than a dead one.
An honest appraisal and listing on Fleabay may be your best bet or a forum member if interested.
