Hello, I haven't been on for a while and I haven't been out on my Wisper yet this year as I haven't got round to replacing my drained battery. However I have decided that I need to get fit and am now desparate to get back out on the road.I love my Wisper but feel the need to get a bike which will be a bit less forgiving and not let me sit back and let it do all the work . My understanding is that the Tonaro will do this and I've had my eye on it for ages . However I've also been reading recently about the Agattu Impulse and am really tempted , partly because of the range of the new, bigger battery. I would be using the bike for fun but would be covering up to 30 miles or so over some quite hilly roads .I know that there has been comment on another thread about the Impulse system's hill handling and I 'm a bit confused as on the one hand it seems to be good for hills and on the other not! I would welcome any advice on whether one system would be better than the other for this.

By the way, for the benefit of anyone else who might be on the look out for a well built, very comfortable ebike I had a go late last year on an Ebco Urban Commuter and was really impressed. In fact if it had a longer range I might well have gone for it. I test rode it at Lawn Tech in Dundee for anyone who's interested

Hi Tyler, nice to see you back.

The only comment i would make, as you know where my loyalties lie lol, is that, if needed, you could easily carry another battery for the Tonaro as they are reasonably priced.

Also, I know absolutely nothing about the A. Impulse but someone will be along soon to help Im sure.

BTW I have just had a wonderful week touring on my bike will post an update when I get a minute.

Sounds like you have recovered well from your ops and are raring to go :)

Best Wishes,

Lynda :)

Thanks Lynda, yes if anyone else is thinking about it (I had both hips done at once) I would say go for it , I can honestly say that I forget now that I've had them done . Good point about the battery , in fact that reminded me that I had asked Phil at Powerpedals about this last year and he thought it would be possible to get a rear rack which would carry the 2nd battery.

Am really looking forward to hearing about your week touring :)
