Hi & thanks for letting me join your great forum.

I have been eager to build up a second MTB but with an electric hub fitted just to take the edge off of long off road rides & not forgetting just having some fun on the roads & cycle lanes :).

Due to the high price of the German hubs I like the look of the Alienocean kits on ebay for cost & the fact that the guy who runs it has been very helpful in answering some questions I had. My main problem is I am not sure if the 36v hub kit he sells will fit a standard MTB suspension fork like the one I have on my other non-electric MTB (Marzocchi) I did ask Alien if they knew if it would fit & he said it might not.

I see that forum member "Planky" had the same problem & he posted a pic which shows clearly what worries me http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/electric-bicycles/1698-alien-bike-kit.html

Can anyone confirm that the Alien 36v kit would fit this type of MTB fork I understand that the hubs are Suzhou Bafang Electric Motors but the last thing I want to do is FORK out £450 only to find that I can't fit it to my forks although I will be buying a new pair of forks for this build so I can consider any make of fork.

Many thanks in advance
