After losing my driving license 12 months ago on medical grounds at the age of 61 I was forced to revisit transport options. I live rural 7 miles from the nearest town and am served by a two hourly bus service. So it was back to cycling and I did a deal on an ex rental + new bike for £850 so have 2 batteries and spare bike.
Commuted 11 miles to work for a while then took early retirement. I now have a bus pass and choose to use the bike for speed and convenience. Starting to go for longer rides now and wife has bought Viking ego which is surprisingly nippy and folds to go in the car.
Let people try short test ride of your bike and note they will always come back smiling.
