On ebay today I spotted this:
ebco ucr 30 electric bike | eBay
From snippets I've read, these are decent ebikes by all accounts but rarely get a mention here in the forum. This particular bike is advertised with little accompanying information and I'm not sure whether or not to believe the seller's story as to why it's being offered so soon after purchase.
That said, there's an opening bid of £600 posted which tends to deter a lot of prospective buyers. Nevertheless, a new one is considerably more than that and if the bike and seller are genuine, it could be a good purchase. I'd want a little more information from the vendor before parting with cash and I'd be interested to find out if the bike is still covered by warranty which is transferable.
It's not one I'll be bidding on but on the face of it, there is potential to pick up a bargain.
Indalo
ps Halfrauds sell them for about a grand. 24V 8Ah battery/Nexus 3-spd.
